Durable and Perfect for Sashiko
These Tulip long sashiko needles are a joy to work with. The tube includes 6 needles in different lengths and thicknesses, making it easy to choose the right one for various fabrics and designs. They feel strong yet flexible, gliding smoothly through multiple fabric layers, and the sharp tip allows for clean stitches without damaging the material. The eye of the needle is wide enough to thread sashiko thread with ease. The tube case is a thoughtful touch, keeping the needles protected and neatly organized. A great choice for anyone who values quality and precision in their Japanese embroidery projects.

Amazing
Excellent length! Can get about 5-7 stitches on. Will take 3 strands of embroidery thread. Needles are very smooth and glide effortlessly.

My preferred!
Tulip Sashiko needles are my preferred needle for Japanese embroidery. I use shorter needles when the stitch pattern is curved and longer ones for straight lines. Thin needles are good for lighter weight stitching fabric and the thicker ones for heavier weight fabric or when I’m stitching denim or through two layers of fabric. The Tulip needles are nice and sharp, sliding through the fabric easily. You won’t be disappointed with Tulip Sashiko needles.

Very good but be careful!!!
These needles are super nice, they are probably the sharpest needles I own, holding a point for a long time making them super good for long term use. I believe I bought these just over a year ago now, and at this point I have only used three of the needles, with the only time I have switched being that the needles snapped. Although they did snap, I am gonna blame a lot of that on me. I'm a pretty new person to hand sewing, and while I've picked up a lot and do it pretty often now, I often apply pressure to the needle which bends it snapping it pretty easy. This is especially rough in tough fabrics like denim, where it can be a bit harder to push through thicker parts of the fabric. Other than the needles snapping (my fault) they do go through fabric super easy, and have a nice smooth quality when doing so, which really helps when you have to go through a lot of material.

Well made. Lovely little test tube with pretty, flexible, long set of hand-stitching needles.
What a pleasure! I am no expert; to me, discounter needles are a pain. Not these: Lovely to look at, fine, crafted quality. Sturdy and flexible needles, they do not bend, have no sharp edges eg at the eye and have a symmetrically pointy end. A pleasure for hand stitching, and three practically long sizes to chose from. I put a small piece of tissue into the bottom of the glass so the sharp ends do not suffer over time. They make me happy just looking at them and should last a very long time. Enjoy!
