Love this stuff. My only complaint is that it is very stiff. I did heat it up and melt it completely after receiving it in hopes that it would be softer and easier to apply but it went back to the same consistency, it is stiff but almost grainy in texture. I just came to terms with the texture and what I do so that it is easily spreadable on my skin is this: I scoop some up and rub it between my palms until it "melts" and is warm and creamy enough to put on. Its worth the effort because my skin feels and looks great all day and my skin is getting softer with this butter. If you're into sports where you need grip I recommend you skip buttering yourself up before your session, you've been warned!

does moisturize the hair somewhat. Not for whole day though. I don't know maybe I just have extremely dry hair. Tried mixing it with other oil olive oil, vitamin e; coconut and other to see if get better results. Maybe will get better but been using for a month now. Do not know what I expected or what it is suppose to do exactly as don't see much difference than pre use.

This arrived so grainy it felt like couscous when I tried to scoop some onto my finger. It's important to realize that graininess isn't a defect of the butter itself, but an artifact of handling, most likely being kept at too-warm temperatures. I put the tub in the microwave, melted it carefully and completely, and set it in my freezer to cool; once it solidified it was utterly creamy and smooth. But that was a pain to have to do, so I rate it four stars instead of five because I have received shea butters in the mail before that didn't have these textural issues.Beyond that, it's nice unrefined shea butter. It has a light smoky-nutty smell and is a pleasure to use on my skin and hair.

It gets my hair dry. Maybe it is because of the texture of my hair. Oily products don't go with my hair and i realize this product is very oily.

Smells Great came fast. I use it on my face, and my wife uses it on her pregnancy stretch marks. I'll post in a few months about whether its worked to reduce my acne scars or her stretch marks.

Item is very hard and formed to the touch, not soft to manage and apply to skin. Other than that, It is a good moisturizer for the skin.

Excellent product makes my skin moist and beautiful also sooths my psoriasis. As for my 4a hair it soften it and moisturize it wonderfully! I was gonna switch to an ivory color shea butter because of all the talk that the ivory shea butter is suppose to be more pure then yellow idk about that, but my entire body love this shea butter so much that im sticking to this brand for life! I have sensitive skin if this product was not pure my skin would definitely let me know and my skin love this so this company has a life long customer im not going anywhere unless they change the purity!

Although it worked really well, it was a very odd yellow color which was hard to blend into things.
