Ok...received the item yesterday. It appears to be a decent device for my purposes...occasionally cutting thin brass and aluminum.First glance indicated the item was used...plastic straps around the carton were cut and taped over. Pulling the device from the carton, I noticed all of the screws holding the table to the cutter were loose....easy to remedy. The cutter assembly is at a slight angle, falling away from the table. Whether this is by design, I don't know, but it does not seem to affect the cut.The fence used to align your work squarely to the fence was not square...again a pretty easy fix, but it is not straight, making alignment a bit challenging.The handle is held on with 2 -3/8 stainless steel screws with nylon nuts. They are very difficult to tighten up, and the stainless steel is too soft for the job...I'd replace them with a pair of nuts and bolts.The overall action is pretty stiff...bolt it down to a table.I am a wood worker, and unfamiliar with most metal working tools, and how the cutting edges should look, but the upper blade appears to have been transformed by hand...the edge is not a consistent angle all the way across. To be fair, it cut clean and square, however there is a Nick in the blade, leaving an imperfect cut. For this reason, I'll exchange the item hoping for something better. Fortunately Amazon's policy will work well for me.

Do not buy this! The design will not allow this to work. Blade guide is thicker than handle and main post by at least a 1/4" . Wen you tighten handle and post bolts it pitches blade guide and you cannot raise or lower blades. It says in manual that unit is setup and ready to go. This is a false statement. Unit cannot work. I have a unit made in USA that works fine. This is copied from that design, but whomever copied it did a very bad job and if they had checked to see if unit worked they would have known this. Note: Price is $100 less than the one made in the USA now I know why!
