I can't believe I'm this excited about car shades!
I live in Texas and it is HOT, y'all. Like one whole side of my body looks older than the other just from the sun coming through the driver's side window. It's awful.I can't justify a tint job because my car is too old, but the other window shades are just okay. The suction cups don't hold up. The static cling doesn't stick. And they don't cover the full windows. And I fight with them every time I need to roll down the window. But these do cover all of the window. And since they attach to the door frame, not the window itself, you can roll the window up and down, no problem. At drive thrus, I just detach the curtain and stick the magnet on another part of the frame, then reattach once I'm done. You can do it from inside the car, buckled in your seat. No need to open the door or anything (at least in my car). The inside of my car is dark, considerably cooler, no one can see inside where my bags are.The only down side is that like with any dark shade or tint, driving at night is difficult with the shades up and if you forget, it's hard to reach the backseat ones to pull them off the frame. It could inhibit your vision at night, so be careful driving and backing up.Otherwise, I'm stoked! I hate writing reviews, but I had to write one for this.

Magnetic my @ss
Yeah it has magnets inside, but not all the way across the top, so half of it has nothing hand hangs lifelessly on the window and blocks the view of the mirror. When I bought it, the photo showed the front window and having a cut off for the view of the mirror. It even said for front window. When I received the item, and tried putting it on, I immediately knew there was a problem. When I went back to check my order it shows in photo front window with cutoff but description was changed to say back windows. When I clicked the link to go into the product main screen the picture was different and showed an SUV's back window and covering the whole window. So basically I was supposed to purchase a front and the program said it was a front but somewhere in the purchasing it got changed. But even if these were for the back windows, there's not enough magnets going across the material to keep the entire material across the entire window it's only halfway magnetic, so half of the material hangs off the window. Also the magnets are not strong at all, I noticed that if my arm bumped the material even just a little bit the whole thing fell down so it was quite aggravating. It's also not very easily seen through so while it was up I had a hard time driving, this product would only be good for a parked car and that is not what I was looking for. I was looking for something that would be on my windows constantly to block the Sun but not my view.

No product consistency
I ordered a set of these and enjoyed them so much that I ordered a second set for another vehicle, and got a very different set the second time. I'm using them anyway but think the first set was higher quality, softer material, finer mesh, the front windows were wider, etc. Receiving a different-but-similar product (like a couple months later, not that long) seems weird. (Just something to be aware of.)The magnets around the top edge that stick to the car door could be stronger, and/or if there were more of them, that would help. But they get the job done. The magnets slide freely along the border of the screen, so when you get this product and apply it to your car, feel along that top hemmed edge for the magnets and spread them out & scoot them to the places where they'll help the screen fit your windows the best. You can see out of them sufficiently during daylight to drive with them in place, and they do block a good amount of sunlight, about like having tinted windows. In the dark I love it that they can easily pull off and be tucked into the door pocket, then snapped right back in place during the daytime again. (You can't really open your windows more than a crack while driving with these in place, or they'll flap around.)They don't fit perfectly, but by spreading the magnets out, they work pretty well, and you can use other small magnets to clamp them down tighter if needed (I picked up a few really strong small magnets to supplement with on windy days when the car is parked at work with windows down all day & the wind kinda flaps them around). Overall a good product for the price, I would recommend them.

Knocks down light by about 50% - Do no leave in car
The shade works but it has it's limitations . If you look at the images, I shined a light through the window onto the seat with a flashlight. Then I did the same thing through the screen. I am estimating that the light was reduced by 50%. This was with a 300 lumen flashlight, not the gazillion lumen sun. So your results may vary.I would only recommend using this in dry weather because the material has no choice but to go in between the weather seals at the door or the window. Of course you won't need this when its raining, but do not forget to take it off in case it rains while the car is parked or you may get water in your car. Check the images to see what i mean. The magnets do stick well, I just wished they went all the way around.Pro - Good magnets, no suction cups, reduces light, stores easily, easily installed and removed.Cons - Magnets should go all the way around, compromises seals, efficacy is questionable.Overall - It works OK. I am keeping it because its definitely better than the ones that have suction cups and better than nothing at all.If you found this review helpful, please click below.

Disappointed
They are okay if baby can’t reach them. Once they can, they simply pull them off. Thry also blow off it window is even slightly open

Pretty nifty
A little bit fiddly to fit on but stays in place well once installed. It can become disconnected if door is left open when wind blows though so beware when windy

Love it! Great Idea
I drive a 2008 Prius, and it fits well. Blocks the sunlight completely and i love it. Other Drivers can't really tell that you are using it. Can't believe I've lived my life without this simple invention. Strong little magnets as well.
