NOT gold/yellow/citrine AT ALL
Pretty crystal.. but its not gold/yellow/citrine AT ALL. Its just like straight up smoky quartz. You can see in the photo that even in my yellow/warm kitchen light, the stone is stone cold grey. Bit of a bummer since i was getting this for a friend who's birthstone is citrine.

My experience exactly, i.e. if it's citrine, you could fool me. Still has valuable spiritual properties and is lovely in its own way, but there was definitely false advertising involved!
