I just received my second order and thought I'd write a quick review. My dog tore his ACL in May and I decided not to do surgery, but to go with conservative management (CM). Part of CM was to add supplements that would help in his recovery. I tried a number of things and this Tumeric supplement was one of the last ones I added into my dog's regimen. After being on these chews for a few weeks he seemed to be doing really well. I discontinued another supplement and continued with these. They do have a yellow coating to them, but that hasn't been an issue for me, I just pick one at a time out of the container and give it to my dog, who, by the way, loves them! So they must be tasty as well as effective.

This was a gift to my son for his aprx 9 year old Border Collie, "Chance". The dog who has always been a non stop 'let's play ball' was having very noticable arthritic type joint problems, plus a tumour in his knee and other diagnosis. "Chance Bow Wow" was having stiffness, definitely with some noticable difficulty getting up as well as falling plus other concerns. My son's wife found "Chance" would easily eat the "Pet Parents USA Turmeric for dogs with K9 joint" etc when it was stirred into his regular food. i had read about the benefits of turmeric plus benefit of K9 Joints (used in the UK very successfully) and was looking for that type when i found this Pet Parents USA offering these two products together.The first pacakge lasted as indicated and instructions were followed. Then when speaking to my son recently , he told me they had been patiently watching "Chance" to see what or if anything occurred. And he did not hesitate to say they both felt cautiously impressed with the noticeable positive results that Chance seems to have experienced, following the first three or four weeks of receiving this Pet Parents USA turmeric and K9 product.. Everyone feels "Chance" has made a definite improvement. now is wanting to play more and run and is definitely better. Remembering this is only in the 2nd month.... so there seems to be wonderful new hope.And it seems to me that it is proper to give Pet Parent USA a sparkling 5 star smile rating..!!! So far so good !!!

I don't put much stock in anecdotal evidence, so I was skeptical when a friend suggested turmeric to treat mobility issues in our 14 year-old Australian Terrier, but my anecdotal experience is that turmeric (or curcumin) worked miracles. Our dog had reached a point where she would get out of bed only to eat or to go outside for a bio-break. She was very stiff and it was evident that walking was difficult for her. The vet had recommended laser therapy which we tried for a while to no effect. Desperate to do something, I tried my friend's suggestion and the results surprised me. In a little over a week, our Aussie was up and around and patrolling the back yard like a terrier. Nothing else had changed in her diet or routine, so I can only attribute the change to the turmeric. I can't credit this brand, since it's not the one we started with but I switched to this one because the first relied on chickpea flour as a base. (Chickpeas are high in copper and our dog has a copper storage issue with her liver.) After we switched to these, the benefits have continued, so...high marks.The one drawback to these chews is that they are exceptionally crumbly. I'd say that fully 1/4 of the chews were reduced to dust and crumbles which I can use as a topper on her meals but it makes dosing problematical. Minus 1 star for that. Finally, based on all the reviews, your dog may love or hate these chews (or any turmeric product). Ours thinks they're treats, so she's happy to take them. Turmeric has a distinct and powerful aroma to *my* nose; you can imagine how a dog's senses would multiply that by a thousand-fold or more. If your dog can get past that, you should be good to go.

I have a 14 yr old Pug that has had weakness in her hind legs for the past 4-5 years. Taking this with its "partner" medicine has truly helped her for the last month. She isn't 100% better, but shows more interest in moving around and getting up is easier. She loves the taste, and easy to chew as she is missing teeth due to her older age. She has even started barking again and wagging her tail, which she hasn't done in years. Will continue giving these for rest of her life, hopefully a long time yet.

I saw the ad for a rebate and thought I would try the product. Our 13 year old puggle struggles with arthritis. We had changed his food to grain free and he was taking several of the supplements to help reduce his inflammation. So when I realized that these were all in the little “pill” I had to give it a try. Max has been on it for almost 2 weeks now and he is doing great. He doesn’t like the taste but will eat it when I mix it in his food. The pill crumbles easy and has made my life easier. We will be buying this product again.

My puppies would not eat them without being slathered in peanut butter. I can’t speak for the effectiveness yet since it’s so hard to trick them to eat it. I believe that once I get the full bottle finished I will see a difference.

My 9 y/o cattle dog mix has been taking this for a little over a week now. He can be picky about treats, he likes these just fine! Crumbles/powders easily if you want to mix with food. This supplement has everything I was looking for in a k9 turmeric sup. (Turmeric, Curcumin, and some form of black pepper/pepper extract to enhance bioavailability). For my 40lb dog this is a 45 day supply, and the price for that is great.I do what I can to keep my dogs off of pharmaceutical drugs. They are athletes and hike/backpack about 30 miles per week. My 9 y/o needs a little extra support. This, along with a couple other supplements, seem to really keep him moving well. Overall, yes I would recommend this product and intend to keep mine on long-term.

Ordered this product in mid July. I just noticed it has 2 expiry dates. One of which indicates the product may have expired 3 months prior to my purchase.
