After a heater fail had to order one and get it here fast. I set the heater and put it in the tank.Waited 15 min.then plugged it in. The next morning the water temp was right on the money.My fish thank you.

Great heater! My only complaint is that it is about 3-5 degrees hotter than it should be. I originally had it set at 77 and it was heating just right at 80. I cut it back to 75 and it is heating right at 79. My betta fish love it.

I've only had this heater in the tank for 24 hours. I followed the instructions and didn't plug it in for at least 30 minutes. I set it halfway between 75 and 80 degrees. When I checked it this morning the water was at 83. I've turned it down to 75 but the light is still on. Waiting for a few days to decide on returning it. After a few days, I found that this item would not properly maintain temperature so it has been returned.

The suction cups pop loose occasionally but it is a turtle who can get wild swimming. It heats up the water, is sturdy, nice build, great digital thermostat, great price. The temperature control on the heater and the thermostat does not match up. I had to turn the heater down much lower than the setting showed compared to the digital thermostat temperature shown. I love that it has a digital thermostat. Many heaters are not accurate though which is why it is always recommended to use multiple thermostats in your tank no matter the brand. I would recommend it to a friend but get multiple thermostats with any heater you buy.

The product seems great for the price the only thing I was disappointed with was the size of the heater itself. It’s far too large for a 5 gallon tank, even though it’s designed for nano tanks. It’s as long as my forearm. Returning tomorrow. :(

Size is large for a 10 gallon tank. The problem is it works for a few days and then it stops heating. The separate thermometer is needed because the markings on the heater are not close to what the water temperature will be. When it works. It was holding 78 degrees for almost a week and now it is not coming on and the temperature in the tank is 72.8. Not good. Not dependable. Disappointed in this purchase.
