Great for landscape modeling
Easy to use and a great range of basic colors for modeling landscape. I use it for my train layouts and scenic dioramas. Be sure to add some water if it gets thick like milk to thin it out. For large layouts get more than one.

Awesome Stuff
Awesome StuffI was able to copy the tone and color of a chunk of granite with a feldspar crystal embedded in it for part of my O scale train setup. Takes some trial and error. You may want to document your recipes/procedure because your portions of each and the order that they are applied will have a HUUUGE effect on whether you can repeat your desired results later. The kits will give you a good start. It took me less than an hour to get a mix of colors and patterns that I liked but after that it was a no brainer. Here are some recipes I use with water to dye ratios eg 1 dye 8 water 1:8Leopard spot style of painting rocks-use foam brush or paint brush1 Leopard spot Yellow Ocher 1:8 1/3 of area ,leave some white spots and overlap colors2 Leopard spot Burnt Umber 1:8 1/3 of area ,leave some white spots and overlap colors.3 When dry apply dominate color Burnt Umber 1:30 to entire area4 When dry spray 70/30 glue/water mix5 Let dry then apply stone grey highlighter 1:30, let dry then apply glue/water spray once more. For train tunnel Entrance with stone grey color1 Leopard spot stone grey 1:8 , leave some white spots and overlap colors2 Leopard spot black 1:16, leave some white spots and overlap colors3 When dry spray 70/30 glue/water mix4 Apply 1:32 stone grey wash over entire area-let dry then apply spray cement5 Apply 1:8 black to highlight cracks-let dry then apply spray cement.Grout and morter lines1 part concrete + 3 parts white + 20 parts water

quick way to get those rock faces colored
I like to use these as a starting point. It gets the basic shades going, and if you want more color you can go from there. The kit gets rock faces colored fast. If you use these on Sculptamold make certain it is absolutely bone dry, first. Otherwise not much will be accomplished other than getting the Sculptamold back on the drying cycle.

Good starter kit.
This is a good place to start and see which colors you use the most. Then move on to the bigger bottles.

Landscape paint set.
This product was delivered earlier than forecast, and is and great set to paint model landscapes with you can mix several colors in a cap from one of the little jars and make different colors then by adding a little water with a brush you can blend it in to give a realist result when dry, easy water clean up, anyone can do it.
