Man Gear Alaska Ultimate Chest Holsters for Semi Auto Pistols

I like that this holster will hold multiple styles of pistols so I don't need a specific holster for each one. This fits my Springfield XDM 10mm, S&W full size M&P 9mm, Browning Hi Power 9mm and even my 1911 decently. It is a secure holster, durable and I like that it is out of the way but easily accessible. I don't like normal hip holsters tugging down on my belt and sometimes they get caught on stuff while walking in the woods. With your pistol situated in the middle of your chest, it is out of the way while doing most activities and you do not notice the weight of carrying as much as with hip holsters. I also like that it sits way higher than a hip holster if you are crossing a creek and more comfortable if you are sitting down in a vehicle, ATV or even on the farm tractor. I have even worn this in my kayak. I am a chunky guy at 5'9" 260# and this has plenty of adjustment to expand to wear over jackets and coats if you want to wear it on the outside. I think this is a very practical holster for people that want to carry while not giving up mobility.

First wearing was about a 6 mile hike. Wore it with the strap under my backpack strap. Very functional, and not very noticible. I will say that my left shoulder was tired afterwards, but it was a muscular tired, not like it rubbed wrong ar anything like that. Fits my XDM 5.25 super snugly. Fits the double stack magazine perfectly also. Work the safety clip a few dozen times to make sure you know where to pinch it and so that it's smooth and easy to open. Mine was very stiff and tight unt I broke it in. Amazing quality and materials. Amazing craftsmanship.

This is my new favorite holster. Carried primarily as a chest holster, this rig sports 6 D-rings around its perimeter that allow for a variety of carry options, even as a fixed mount ATV holster. It also has two rows of belt loops for hip/ belt carry. Made of heavy duty denier, it includes a velcro/ HPT magazine carrier capable of securely holding one single stack .45 mag, two mags, or a single dual stack magazine. The most difficult things to find in a holster are comfort and utility. This holster excels at both. I sometimes forget I have it on. The padded shoulder strap is extremely comfortable, and the variety of carry options and support for multiple makes and models of pistols mean it will be your go-to holster for a long time. My only criticism is that the D-ring hardware is a bit large for the denier loops, and allows the D-ring to rotate in the loop, but its trivial even though it "might" effect the long term viability of the loop, but the manufacturer offers a limited lifetime warranty, so again, trivial. Get it, you won't regret it.

6"2' and 215 lbs. Fits comfortably for hikes and carries my Glock 20 with an extra mag perfectly. I'm Alaskan and love that this is made in our state. They are made just a few hours down the road, but had to order online due to COVID.

Purchased the larger one for my revolver for bear hunting. liked it so much had to buy one for my semi-autos very comfortable and easy to wear while either in the truck or quad.
