Not sure how the other reviews were setting this up but it works great. Goats got hit and immediately knew they didnt want to mess with it. They stay about 3 feet away from it. Dog got hit and stays away too. Goes up easy. Posts stand straight and wires dont sag. Very happy**UPDATE**Well, this worked great for awhile. Once goats realized it was worth a short shock and the fence was flimsy enough to get over they went for it everytime. Would not recommend for stubborn goats.

We purchased this fencing in hopes to be able to move the animals around often, but that’s far from the truth. Once these post are moved a few times the post and legs start breaking. If the ground is hard you might as well forget it. If you don’t get it tight the animals can go right under it as the bottom stay is not electric (I understand why) the up and down stays are not electric either. (Makes no sense). Cheap fencing for a reason. I’ve purchase 6 sections and they’ll be my last purchases! But when it worked, it worked great… when it didn’t… I had animals EVERYWHERE! Also comes with plastic stakes… should be metal and a lot of them! Good for a temporary use but not long term unless you’re keeping it permanent.

Worked even better than another fence we had bought on Amazon. Posts were easy to push into ground fencing stayed taught and kept our goats penned in!

Metal stakes are not very strong, but if you're careful they are ok.Fence is sturdy enough and works fine

We ordered this fence in order to expand the grazing area for our pigs. We chose this fence for the convenient and easy set-up and installation. We took special care to mow the pasture grass all the way to the ground where we were installing the fence. We used a 10 acre energizer that was recommended by Amazon to go with the fence. The fence worked great for the first few weeks and then one Saturday morning my son came in from the backyard asking if we were burning anything. My husband and I both rushed outside to find plumes of white smoke billowing from our pasture out by the pig pen. We each took off at a mad dash to get to the pen. My husband shut off the electricity to the energizer and I ran for the well to switch the pump on. I THANK GOD for so many things that day. I thank God that my son went outside at that moment and caught it early. I thank God that it happened on a Saturday when we were actually home and not at work. I thank God that I had just watered the pigs the night before and the hose for the well was already strung out by their pen. It could have been truly horrific if we had not caught it as soon as we did. We have a large pasture as do all the neighbors around us.After the fire was out I made sure to take pictures and I contacted the seller right away to let them know of the defect in their product. They assured me that they would turn it over to their manufacturer, so that they could make sure to test their product more thoroughly before sending it out. I was able to return our fence and get a full refund. The company even compensated me by letting me pick a free item from their web store. I am happy with the way that they responded so quickly. I just hope that they were honest about checking their product more thoroughly.I just wanted to make sure I left a review so that other people were aware of the fire hazard with this fence. I know that we are dealing with dry grass and electricity here, but in all the years that I have had the regular old electric fence wires with posts and insulators I have never had an issue with the grass catching fire. We have since replaced this fence with the posts and wires type fence and have had no issues. I guess sometimes easy and convenient isn't always the better route.I also want to stress that this review is in no way negative to the company that sells this product (they were great to deal with), but just for the product itself.

I use these to confine my goats to brush patches I'm trying to clear up. The goats won't go anywhere near it now so I'd say it works pretty well. I set it up around brush patches so that my goats can do their duties and it is relatively easy to move around. I had a few does run directly into it at first and get tangled so make sure that your animals know what it is before you leave them unsupervised, especially goats. It does lean a little bit and you have to adjust it from time to time but I personally think it's worth every penny, anything that'll keep a post hole digger out of my hands is alright with me. I use the Patriot P20 Dual Purpose Electric Fence Energizer, 2.0 Joule and I highly recommend it. I use the same charger to power a hot wire across the top of my goat pens as well as this netting.

This was easy to install, easy to use. i only had to wait for it to charge before using.

It went up super easy. Like in minutes. But the sheep have knocked it over and broke poles continuously. Replacing the poles is beyond annoying.
