About the Author Joan Carter is currently living and studying in Europe, finishing her PhD. Although she is a historian, since her early childhood she found interest in spiritual and mystical subjects. She published scientific papers on the subject of history in many scientific, internationally recognized magazines. Her professional life led her into the finance business, where she spent years on the level of top management. But her other true profession was her dedicated spiritual work, as she persistently was seeking upon answers that are at everybody's first interest. The pursuit for a balanced and harmonic life led her to the study of ancient Egyptian and Greek mythology, Chinese traditional medicine, the occult sciences of the middle ages, creative visualization, the Law of attraction and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). In her adolescence she was dedicated to Yoga and martial arts, so she still loves and nurtures those values found in that part of her life. In fact some of the knowledge she passed onto her daughter, that is working on some of her projects as well. I like that this book is simple.....but not clear enough instructions on how to perform the yoga moves

It works really quick!
Definitely 5 star product! I tried so many books on face yoga before and all I got was a theory and not well explained exercises. This stuff really works and is well explained. I started noticing first results within a week already, so my mum and sister tried it too. I would recommend to all girls seeking results without wasting a lot of time.

highly recommandeable
I just started with the exercises recently. I tried the ones for the eyes and the neck area. must say works amazingly!!!! My bf was really surprised ( he was gone for two weeks) and thought i lost weight.... It just gives you a radiant look with (nearly) zero effort. easy to follow, no fussing around.

Regret purchasing and would not recommend
Am inclined to agree with one of the other reviewers in that this book is more like a brochure than a book or how to. It is indeed badly written and formatted. Whilst the affirmations are pleasant, the exercises are difficult to grasp and for me, I struggled with the descriptions and photos - they didn't look like they were the same thing. Some of the exercises actually look like they could do more harm, particularly with the under eye area.

don't waste your money
take my word for it....don't waste your money on this book. It is badly written and poorly formatted. I find it impossible to believe that Joan Carter has a Phd if this is her level of literacy. There is a woeful lack of information. I find it helps to have some anatomical information to help me visualize and focus on the muscles I'm supposed to be working...you won't find it in this book. In fact the author actively avoids factual information, she doesn't find it helpful!?? (odd for a historian!!) That said I enjoyed the quotes and affirmations

Recommended.It is clear: well set out; well illustrated and easy to follow. it is not too long and the method seems to be working.

Didn't like this book. I was worried that I would be making more lines stretching my skin like that. It didn't inspire me to use it at all. Perhaps if she had said she was 90 and still looked like a 40 year oldl I might have tried it.
