We went on a muddy ATV ride over spring break I bought these for all of us (4). We were advised to bring shoes that we could throw out--but I didn't have any. Knowing we would get muddy, I got these for my family. They worked great. Our shoes stayed dry and protected --these come up the calf and also protected our jeans. These covers are hard to clean--I tried to rinse off the mud but it was not easy to remove. I will use again when working in my yard if it is wet and muddy. The bottoms have some grip (not a lot) --but none of us slipped wearing them hiking in the snow either NOTE --THE SIZE CHART IS OFF. I wear an 8.5-9 women's shoe--the medium was perfect. I ordered an XL for my son who wears a 10.5-11 men shoes, and XXL for the other two who wear size 12 men's shoes. It was easier to put the tennis shoe inside and then slip your foot into that.

I live in a heavy snow and rain area with no pavement. These take a few minutes to get on but they have amazingly survived this winter without me having to wear heavy boots that make my back really hurt I can wear heavy socks and shoes that help my back These are amazingly sturdy. I have had NO problems wth the zippers and the construction holds up still after use multiple times a day all winter! I leave my ice walkers on them and the shoes too. Still works quite quickly. Fairly easy to slip your shoes into, easy to zip up and button straps across top of foot. My slip-on shoes come off when I pull my foot out but that’s not a problem. They do what I need. I don’t like the standard pull on rubber boots. Very good price.

I have had a chance to use these for both heavy rain and snow. They work beautifully. they slip on and off very easily thanks to the zipper running the length of the shoe cover. There is an elastic band and snap closure on the upper end a to prevent leaking. There is also an elastic band that crosses over the ankle portion to prevent the shoe portion from slipping. As far as fit goes, I wear a size 9.5 shoe and purchased the extra large. It fits well with a bit of extra room and no slipping. This size also fits over my size 10 sneakers (first time ever for me)! I also purchased a pair of large for my son, whose shoe size is 9, and found that my 9.5 shoe fits into them as well. Another plus: they fold flat and are ideal for travelling.

They're not really sturdy. The zipper started ripping out at about the 6-month mark. Just after a year, the back of the right one split open. I would recommend getting a size larger than the chart states. They did work well for a while.

WARNING DO NOT BUY! Unless you’re a small Asian lady with super tiny feet. These are way off on sizing and do not have any type of support on the bottom. It’s the same as barefoot pretty much. Think of putting your feet in a bag because that is what this is like and that is if your foot fits in the super small size. I got an XXL and I wear size 9 so what’s that tell you?

When I first opened the boot covers, I was somewhat skeptical that they would meet the demands of an Arctic trip, but I packed them anyway. Wore them every day. Feet stayed completely dry during wet landings and they held up under the rough hiking terrain we encountered (rough scnd, rocks and boulders). I was truly impressed, and they took up barely any space in my luggage.

We ordered these for our Thanksgiving adventure which was going to involve being in rain and snow. They worked wonderfully. We walked and played for 3 days in 26" of snow and melting puddles of slush and water. They are much lighter easier to walk in than snow boots. The rubber soles gripped well and other than a little dampness inside on the 3rd day we were warm and dry. For the occasional rainy, snowy weather person they are great. Took up less room in the suitcase than a blouse.
