The Cherokee: The Past and Present of a Proud Nation (American Indian Life)

My fourth grader read this book for Social studies. It had clear, concise, well presented information about the Cherokee. It was very helpful, grade appropriate. I found the information on how the present day Cherokee work to preserve their culture and history very interesting.

Great book for younger people to learn about Native American culture.

I did not like that there was not an age appropriate for this book. Also that it did not state how many pages this book had. I was disappointed that it did not have many pages.

Very well written. The history and culture of the Cherokee is very interesting. I think keeping it intact is important for all.
