So usually we have a puzzle set up on the table through the winter months and we pick away at it all year. The letters on the back have guaranteed this is going to go faster this year. It's not just a case of you know what quadrant they are in, you know which direction each piece is supposed to fit into the puzzle and you can double check on the back to make sure they really do fit together. My 9 year old LOVES this. He is actually sitting at the table and doing the puzzle with me (which will be going in his room when finished). We sit and talk about video games and stories and school. It has been a great way to bond with him. I would like to point out that the picture is way more detailed then the picture shows, which my son loves. He tells me all about what that castle means and why things are the way they are in the pic.
