1 Horsepower Shallow Well Pump with Stainless Steel Housing by Pacific Hydrostar

Great little pump. Cavitated for hours when someone isolated the pump by closing valves. After removing fittings and retightening them with new Teflon tape. No leaks and pump works as before. Has been problem free, going through second winter. Ours is used to boost pressure and sits below our water tank and above our house in elevation.

The product was severely damaged and unusable. The shipping box was torn open parts were bent inside. Replacement part is not going to be delivered upon the promised redelivery date

been a year & its holding up fine. good pressure pumping about 100 yrds uphill (I would guess @ least a 20-30% grade incline) from pumphouse. Seems to be fine & it was 1 of the lower priced ones too. No complaints @ all.

I purchased this pump to replace on older, noisy one. My well is a sand point at 18 ft. Priming went well however after 6 or so hours it lost prime. I could turn off discharge valve and after short time would prime itself. I installed a new check valve and went over all connections 3 times to find no leaks. It is very inconvenient to go out each morning and complete this ritual. Mine is a sku#69305 3/4 H.P. Hydrostar

I got one last year and had problems getting it to prime. They sent another one and I got it to work for 6 months and I am back to the prime issue. I do plumbing, so it's now like I don't know what I am doing. This pump rattles when trying to suck water which tells me the bearings are no good. Seems these pumps are being sold, returned just to be resold. This shouldn't be going on. I would just warn you all with a BEWARE before you consider! Now I have two of these paper weights laying around and going to cost me money to get rid of.
