Sumatra Mandheling Reserve Coffee, Dark Roast, USDA Organic, Ground, Reserve, Fair Trade, Kosher, 16-ounce

I am now down to three coffee companies that I will buy coffee from. I want clean coffee. But I really want my dark roast to taste dark. That, sometimes is hard to find. This company‘s coffee is excellent and their dark roast espresso taste like espresso. I have also purchased a medium roast by this company and it tasted medium, and I could taste the nuttiness of the bean. They absolutely have their coffees down to a perfection.

This is my absolute favorite coffee. I order it month after month and it's consistently fresh and loaded with deep, smoky flavor. The flavor profile is unmatched in any other dark roast I've tried as you can really taste the chocolate and caramel overtones and the notes of smoke. This coffee has a low acidity and it's smooth to drink. I only allow myself one cup a day, brewed in a French press, and the aromas and flavors are indulgent.

I have been drinking coffee since 1980. I have had every brand, including some newer "higher end" brands. This coffee is it. Delicious with a low acid finish, which is mostly missing with every other brand. Keep up the quality and I will keep buying!

Very good. I was drinking a different brand of Papua for many years that I loved, but that company decided to reduce their 16 oz coffee bag to 12 oz for the same price as their 16 oz bag. Inflation is hurting everyone, unfortunately, and my family is feeling it as well, so I had to try a new coffee that made fiscal sense. I like Volcanic very much. It tastes a little different from what I'm used to, but I like it well enough. I'll continue to buy it. It's good value.

I’ve been using the Volcanica dark roast espresso in my 15bar Brim espresso machine. The dark roast espresso doesn’t trigger my silent reflux and pain experienced with lighter, more acidic coffees.Sadly, my machine cannot handle the most recent bag. I tried everything I could think of and nothing would work. Upon reaching out to Volcanica, they researched (even went so far as to call the machine manufacturer! )and finally figured out that the espresso grind was changed recently and it’s sadly just too fine for my machine.They even offered me a free bag of coffee to replace the one that I cannot use.Amazing company and delicious coffee! Just beware that dark roast espresso will not pull thru a Brim espresso machine.

Excellent coffee with great flavor but grind size is similar to an espresso grind. I ordered regular grind not sure if I received what I ordered. Regardless this is good coffee.

Volcanic Espresso coffee, like others in the Volcanic brand, is a premium product and is priced accordingly. This is not for the coffee drinker expecting quality like this at Maxwell House prices. Those complaining about its price should return to their Folgers. Smooth and low in acidity, unusual for dark roast ground coffee, I have now gone from two cups per day of my everyday premium coffee to six cups of Volcanic Espresso, my new everyday coffee. Look forward to experimenting with other dark roast ground coffees within the Volcanic brand. Nice that Amazon delivered it in one day and as fresh as it left the packer.

I started having stomach problems in the morning with my old coffee, so I shopped for a low acid coffee. My first purchase of another brand didn’t measure up so I tried this one and the coffee flavor is very good so I’m sticking with it. I now have it on subscribe and save for automatic deliveries.
