These are some nice pants.
I'm not usually a light colored jeans guy, and I usually scoff at clothes with fake, "pre-wear" but I have to admit that these are now one of my favorite pairs of pants. The material is very soft and has some generous stretch to it, making bending and moving around very comfortable. The previously mentioned pre-wear is subtle and is only present on the top edges of the pockets and the bottom of the legs and it is achieved in such a way that it doesn't seem like it will affect the durability of the fabric. It's more like a distressed effect than actual ugly fake rips. The faded look is done well but unlike the product photos, there's a square shape worn into it over the front left pocket (like cell phone/wallet shape). If you're in the market for some comfortable jeans, you won't be disappointed with these.

Enough With the Lycra
I recently purchased a pair of vintage, 100% cotton Levi’s. It’s been a while since I’ve had a new [to me] pair of jeans and so I was a bit disappointed to discover I needed to get a 31” waist in order for them to fit my butt and thighs comfortably. When I was offered the opportunity to try these Denim Garage faded blue jeans in 31x34, I had no doubt they’d fit me because, in addition to the recent Levi’s experience, I already have two other pairs of Denim Garage jeans (one with a 30” waist) that fit me decently. I should mention, I’m not a fan of stretch denim, much preferring the relaxed and, frankly, much more classy look of 100% cotton. IMHO - Stretch denim has a tendency to look cheap and vulgar on everyone but the skinniest of the skinny. But, since it’s becoming nearly impossible to find any fabrics without spandex/elastane/lycra, I’m trying my best to adapt.Unfortunately, these proved to be a failed experiment. The other two pairs of Denim Garage jeans contained 5% elastane, while these had only 2%. I was able to get the 2% jeans on, up and zipped but when I went to remove them I had to turn them completely inside out in order to get them off my legs. And honestly, they’re just uncomfortably tight. I’m a female, 5’4”, 145 lbs., large through the hips and heavy in the thighs. I normally wear a 10-12 in trousers, depending on the brand (and cut). The 5% elastane jeans aren’t particularly flattering (they fit like tights) but at least I’m able to get them on and off with relative ease.As far as aspects other than fit, the fabric is very soft and has the look of authentic “old school” denim (due to the lower amount of spandex, I imagine) rather than that peculiar luster I associate with most stretch denim. And the color is okay – reminiscent of a 1980’s stonewash. As a final note, I can’t help but imagine that the “body positivity” movement was spearheaded by clothing manufacturers who now add synthetic stretch fibers to everything because it saves them money. They want everyone to feel okay with wearing skin-tight clothing because that’s just how this stuff fits. Personally, I think a well draped garment made from 100% natural fiber is infinitely classier (and more up-market) than clingy, cheap-looking lycra blends. Even on the slenderest figure.

Great Fit, Very Comfortable
I snapped these up when I saw they were dad-in-law sized, even though it's been years since I've seen him in jeans. I washed them in cold water followed by a low temp dry, because I remembered he won't wear, or even try on, anything not laundered. He took them from me to try on and didn't look at all excited, but when he returned with them on, I could immediately tell he liked them. He did a little spin, smiling and shaking his little bootie as he turned. He said that they felt great, comfy and broken in as if he'd had them “forever”. He looked great in them too. When I said that I thought he looked thinner in them, he replied that he might never take them off. It's all family at work, his business actually, and he wore them in today. No tie, but still wearing loafers, polo style button down and summer weight blazer. He looked super, not quite casual, but closer to it than I've seen him in forever. Based on how he looks in them and how much he likes them, I'm giving them five stars.

Look Great But It's a Matter of Personal Preference in Terms of Material
When it comes to jeans it really is a matter of personal preference. I got these for my teenage son and he doesn't care for them. He prefers a softer, lighter type of denim. The look is okay but the feel is completely off as far as he's concerned. These are what he calls "work" jeans, because they are heavyweight enough to be durable. Definitely not like designer jeans that are light and have more give. The finish on the jeans is light and not over-done, like many "pre-washed" jeans on the market. If you're used to designer jeans that cost upward of $100 you're likely not going to like the feel of these. As far as looks, I think they look great on him and they do fit well. He just doesn't really like the thickness/feel of the material.

Great looking and comfortable
I did order these jeans for myself and find them better than expected. Here is my take on these jeans:Pros:• Comfortable• Stylish and the wear looks natural• Cotton material (Only 2% Elastane material) makes huge different in feel and the look of these pantsCons:• I did order 33W, but it fits like 34W (even 35W)Haven’t washed these jeans and no plan to do anytime soon; so not sure how the fit or look might change after the wash.I think these jeans are great for the weekends or casual events and are priced very reasonably.

Skinny/Shredded.
I can't give these a great review because I just don't like them. They're just too skinny and already worn out. I don't like the style and I should have known before ordering, but they don't look as bad on the model. I'm thin, but have fairly muscular/thick legs, and these hardly want to go on, even though they are my size. They're also a bit too worn for me - such as the bottom of the leg starting to shred - making me feel like I was cheated out of some of the useful life of the jean. All that said, I know that these are more or less the style now. Quality does not seem inferior in any way (in fact, probably pretty good compared to a lot of what is available), but I won't be able to get myself to wear them.
