I actually did order this for my hens...but when it arrived I laughed and put in the Cockatiel's cage. The mirror is far too small to entertain the chickens...honestly, I don't think the tiel cares about it one way or the other. She ignored the pink hanging toy for weeks and then all of the sudden it was the best thing ever and she has pretty much completely chewed up the pink 'flower'. Good for the price, but not for chickens.

I bought this swing after reading the reviews and have to admit was a bit disappointed when it arrived but gave it a try anyway.It is pretty flimsy, the side chain is quite short and only suitable if you are using it in a bird cage.Definitely not suitable for chicken. My chicken did not buy into it, never tried it once and even broke the chain off once pecking at it. The mirror that came with is also was not ideal.This is a good swing for a bird smaller than a chicken and it is only good for an in-house cage.Don't waste time and money buying for your chicken.

The picture should show a parrot rather than a chicken because this is made for a birdcage. The picture is very misleading!

I guess I thought my chickens might be more like parakeets that enjoy looking at themselves in the mirror and ringing little toy bells. They've shown no interest.

My girls don't use or even look at these. They are a waste of money.

Everything was much smaller than the picture. It was funny watching the chickens crowding around the mirror to look at themselves.
