Good fitting, and fun
I've had to wear compression socks for some years now. I bought dress socks in the traditional black or navy blue, going wild on a couple pair of dark brown socks. Woo hoo! But I've finally decided to have fun with my dress wardrobe, which meant, for me, red sox.I love these socks! But they are very different from traditional compression socks that I've worn. If I put these next to any of my other pairs, they are much longer. They don't stretch out as you pull them up your leg, because they're at their full length. The compression comes not from "give" in the composition of the material, but from the weave of the material. Pull them up your legs and you'll feel the compression -- and, of course, it's tighter in the feet and gradually relaxes as it goes up, but they're certainly not loose-fitting! That, and they say they're both regular machine washable *and* tumble dryable!I love the style, I love the color. I wish there weren't the white markings on the back and sides, and the high white heel markings, because I just want the red to show when I'm wearing a dark suit and my wingtips, but that's OK. I suspect most people will buy these for workouts, for casual athletic endeavors, or other outdoorsy uses, not business wear. Enjoy them!

Good compression socks
Fit is a bit personal - but here goes. These socks fit my feet just right for comfort there and they do have graduated compression. They seem strong. I just got them - so I can't say how well they'll hold up in the wash (I use delicate cycle / woolite detergent) and air dry in the dryer for these. I had a different brand before - but wanted to try these. I found the mediums just right with a 9.5 foot size and I actually have reasonably large calves (I'm 5'9" and 165 lb male and mediums are just right). These are comfortable and seemed cooler after I washed them. I bought enough pairs for the week. I hope they hold up well. Edit after several months: still good.If your legs swell, you may want to try these supplements, too:I still use rutin (a low dose brand) and also use Swanson Diosvein (diosmin and Hesperidin) and also with the Now brand Silymarin (milk thistle extract) and ORAC energy greens which all also contain flavinoids. The different flavinoids all seem to work together to promote vascular health (less leg swelling / less excessive bleeding; less anything bad about unhealthy veins / circulation). See if these help leg swelling, too.

They work very well, but quality doesn’t seem to match the price.
A day after doing calf exercises my legs were hurting, but after placing these socks I felt little to no pain. They work very well for post workout recovery. Recovered faster too.I have a heart condition and when using these compression socks during workout, I noticed that I was able to hit my punching bag a little bit longer with more energy. With these on it’s like having those better workout days. Blood circulation is a big thing. It’s what keeps us alive and also feeds oxygen to muscles when we’re fatiguing, allowing the body to push harder.Don’t know if all compression socks work as well, these being my first, but maybe because the vitalsox is doing more with theirs, by having it compress harder at the bottom and less as it goes up to really help with blood flow it might be better than the rest that are simply tight everywhere.Quality wise I’d have to give this a 1 out of 5 due to the grey thread around the feet already wearing out looking fuzzy from less than a full day of walking only around the house on carpet surface.

VITALSOX Won My Test
I am a male senior citizen and recently I was told by my doctor that I needed to start wearing compression support socks/stockings. I knew nothing about them as far as quality and fit so I decided to do my own tests on different brands. The test included price, value, fit, and quality. I purchased 10 different pair of support socks/stockings. In my test VITALSOX was the best fitting, the best quality, and the best value of all the socks tested. I will not name the other brands in this review but most were purchased from Amazon. Some were very good but they could not match VITALSOX. VITALSOX was the most comfortable of all of the socks tested.

Colorful socks NOT compression socks
These are not graduated compression socks... they could not compress a bag of chips. Also note the bizarre sizing on packaging... so what actually supposedly Fits.. a 12.5 US... when a UK equivalent is 11.5. Yet one is XL and one is L - I got the L and there’s no compression sock quality

Really make me feel secure when walking
I had ankle fusion surgery and my ankle swells a lot by the end of the day. Also, the surgery makes my walking tentative, which means I don't feel 100% secure with my movements. These socks give me confidence when walking. Another issue is my calves swell at the tops of my socks. These compression socks help keep the calf swelling issue in check. I have had mine for over a year and they are still in good shape. Putting them on is not an issue if you do it correctly. Finally, I think they make me look older, and I am 62, so I mix up the colors for each leg, now it's a fashion statement:)

These. Are. Amazing.
I hope these are as good in 3 months as they the first wear. Small is barely large enough for my calf, but the focused calf compression feels amazingly good, while the padding in the sole is quite nice. I bought a cheaper, "popular" sock that is pretty solid overall, except for the huge problem of narrow elastic holding up the stock! These have a beautifully designed wide, textured elastic band. Worth the extra money. I look forward to updating this review.

Nice compression socks - works for me
I love these socks - I usually wear them after a workout or a long run, and they've done wonders for my lower legs, especially where I used to have pain when I stayed in one position for too long, even after stretching post-exercise.They're not too difficult to get on, unlike another pair I have, and I find them very comfortable. and the colour is nice :)

Superb socks
I love these socks. I bought some others that claimed to be a tighter compression but i can't tell tge difference in that regard. The quality is superb. They are very soft and comfortable and he sole is very thick. Love the colors!!! They help reduce and eliminate all my foot problems and fatigue from walking for a living (letter carrier). They increase my circulaion and help me feel more energetic as well as warmer. Will definitely buy again. My favorite socks by far.

Good quality socks; run larger than expected
I was expecting these to be long, but wow. I am about 5'11" but have long legs (22" from floor to top of knee while sitting) and these socks could easily be pulled over the knee with a small amount of stretch. They feel good though and the quality seems top-notch, but I would have preferred them to be just a little shorter. I can still wear them so they sit just below the knee without any stretch, so I will be keeping them.
