Aquarium Sump Refugium DIY Kit for Protein Skimmer Sump - Chamber dividers (10 Gallon)

The media could not be loaded. So I decided to take a chance on this since it was pretty cheap for what it was and it turned out great. I don't understand what people are talking about it not fitting the Aqueon 10 gallon tank but it fits mine perfectly. As far as instructions go, no there's no instructions but just look at the pictures. It's really not hard at all, you don't need instructions for this, the pictures show how it's supposed to be. If you're not sure then look at the video I posted with this. I saw there were some people that were surprised or disappointed that it didn't come with the tank? Look guys I'm sorry you didn't read when it clearly says it's the chamber dividers and that the tank nor silicone was included. I'm actually surprised it came with the piece of foam you use to put in between two of the dividers.People were saying that the pieces were thin and flimsy but if you look at the video review they are quite thick and sturdy. There was also people saying it was too pricey but have you seen the prices of already pre-built sumps? Compared to that this was pretty good I got the tank for $15 that was 50% off from Petco and these for 29 bucks so for what 45 bucks I got a sump, you can't beat that anywhere.So at the end of the day I think it's a pretty good deal for what it is especially compared to how expensive equipment can be for a salt water reef tank. I'm actually thinking to buy the 29 gallon kit just for the future whenever I eventually upgrade, just already have it on hand.

Works great in this 29 gal, saved ton$ rather than buy an actual sump. Make sure you use lots of silicone. I put 1/2 pvc pieces in the bottom when it started to bow a little, holds the walls in. The piece I thought I stuck the best peeled free, I just shoved the pvc pies in to hold it rather than drain my 3 month old cycled sump and dry it to re silicone it. Other than that it has been holding great and worth it, compared to other options. If you think you have enough silicone, put a little more. Let it cure extra long with it thicker, that may have been my cause for the side that let loose. I should have left it for 2 days to cure.

Works great for the price, easy to install

Nice thick acrylic panels that fit nicely in a 20 gallon tall. You can’t buy the acrylic to cut your self for the price. Filter socks are ok but I didn’t think the kit came with socks so….

This kit is not well cut. There are pieces that are supposed to slot together, but they aren’t cut well and therefore the “pegs” don’t fit into the slots. I had to modify and cut the acrylic to make them fit right. Had I known I’d be cutting acrylic anyway I’d have just gone and bought acrylic sheets and made it all myself for a quarter of the cost of this kit.

I lined up the baffles with a square, and two of them weren't cut straight. Idk how they do that, but I think they can be sanded to fit.

Exactly the baffle kit I needed for a 3 compartment sump. I installed it in an Aqueon 20 long with no problems, the baffles were cut to fit exactly. Easiest pre cut kit I've ever put to use.The system this sump is built for is planned to be a marine planted or macro-algae tank so there is no need for a skimmer section. I bundled a clamp on sock holder to complete the sump.
