Ticket to Ride: Europe takes you on a new train adventure across Europe. From Edinburgh to Constantinople and from Lisbon to Moscow, you'll visit great cities of turn-of-the-century Europe. Like the original Ticket to Ride, the game remains elegantly simple, can be learned in 5 minutes, and appeals to both families and experienced gamers. Ticket to Ride: Europe is a complete, new game and does not require the original version. More than just a new map, Ticket to Ride: Europe features brand new gameplay elements. Tunnels may require you to pay extra cards to build on them, Ferries require locomotive cards in order to claim them, and Stations allow you to sacrifice a few points in order to use an opponent's route to connect yours. The game also includes larger format cards and Train Station game pieces. The overall goal remains the same: collect and play train cards in order to place your pieces on the board, attempting to connect cities on your ticket cards. Points are earned both from placing trains and completing tickets but uncompleted tickets lose you points. The player who has the most points at the end of the game wins.

Same quality as other Ticket to Ride games - but a little complex
My review of this game is influenced by the fact that we own Ticket to Ride First Journey. We LOVE that game. My kids, ages 10, 8 & 6 can play that game by themselves to the full extent of the rules. That being said, we bought this game hoping to up the play a bit. It's a HUGE jump. There are a LOT more twists and rules. It's also a map of Europe from the early 1900's so it took us a few rounds to get familiar with the names and locations. The positive in all this? You can simplify the game as much as needed for your audience. It doesn't come out and say that in the rules... but that's the beauty of "house rules"! It's a high quality board with nice pieces and cards. The added play (tunnels, keeping score around the outside, selecting routes) will be good at keeping the game interesting for years to come.

Really like the Europe version of the game!
We played Ticket to Ride Days of Wonder at a friends house and enjoyed so much my daughter and her husband bought the game. When our grandkids were visiting I wanted to play with them but thought it would be good for variety to try a different version. This is still the same great game but with twists that make it even more interesting like tunnels and ferries. Routes are shorter in Europe and the names are not anglicized so it is very educational for geography as well. We decided we like it even better than Days of Wonder version!

Received Bent
Came out of the box all bent up. I've played this game before and I love it so I was really excited to play it again, sad that my new game was so bent in the box....afraid to open it and see if the board is still in one piece.

Love Ticket to Ride... and now there's a new version to love!
Ticket to Ride original is one of my family's favorite games, and now the new European version is out we can keep playing with a new twist (honestly, it's a great geographic learning tool for our 11y old daughter)!

Fun playing the game! - Strategies n challenges!
This is an great game where you will get opportunities to make lot of strategies, challenges when your route gets blocked and overall a fun game to play. It really gets interesting when 3 or more players play the game but it's fun when two people play too.

BEWARE.....used game being sold as new
We purchased this game as a Christmas gift for my son and it was missing most of the cards. it was obviously an old, used game repackaged incomplete and sold as new. RIPOFF! I would like a full refund!
