This book falls apart when used once.
30 copies of this paperback were bought for third graders to learn about undersea exploration and Jacques Cousteau. The binding in EVERY ONE of them fell apart on first usage. Packing tape has been used to try to hold the pages together, but that requires tape for virtually every page and the cover.Although the content is appropriate, I advise NO ONE to buy this book to read more than once. As a teacher in a Title 1 school, I don't have money to replace books every year, and I expect books to be used more than one time!

Great book even for little kids!
Great book. My son is still a bit to young to read it, but he already enjoys the pictures very much. We've had some conversations about it and it's helped us work on our swimming. When he doesn't want to go I just bring up Jacques Cousteau, and he's on board. Plus I get to be the cool dad whose kid knows about Cousteau (even if he has a little trouble with the name). Can't wait to watch the films with him!

Truly amazing and motivational
I found this book really inspiration. Being an avid photographer and disabled. I also have a penchant for the ocean. This book is simple but inspired

I didn't realize it was a kids book until it arrived. However, a found a little someone to gift it to and he loved it, especially the part about the liter!

Great glimpse at the life of Jacques Cousteau!
This picture book by Dan Yaccarino is a great glimpse at the life of Jacques Cousteau. His illustrations are vibrant and colorful, and the Jacques Cousteau quotes set on the pages are great conversation starters for young readers. An interesting read for any children interested in the life and work of Jacques Cousteau.

Fantastic Book!
This is a fabulous book. Very informative and appropriate for elementary students. I used it as the beginning read-aloud for our Summer School "Splash Into Learning" Camp and it allowed us to discuss oceanography, sea life, conservation, and was the spin-off for the entire camp.
