Perfect fit
We got a new puppy, who chews everything, including the cord to the charging base of our cordless phone. After first trying Best Buy, we found this one on line, and it fit perfectly! Instead of buying a new phone system, we just replaced the cord. Works great!

MISLEADING DESCRIPTION.
1. The end of the adapter is too short to fit completely into the hole of the phone (a piece of hard rubber prevents it from going all the way in.) This is causes the power to wiggle on and off. This is certainly not an exact replacement, regardless of brand name, for the PNLV226.2. The cord is much shorter than than the original panasonic adapter.I will definitely NOT buy again.I rarely post a negative comment, but I am so upset that I have to buy a different adapter.In sum, the description is misleading.

Did not fit my Panasonic phone
I had to return it. The number was correct but it did not fit the phone.

Will not fit Panasonic cordless phone base
Description says it’s for a Panasonic PNLV226. Won’t fit. I was looking to replace a blown PNLV226 power adapter for a Panasonic KX-TGE470 phone base. The adapter plug is too short. I had to modify the adapter plug by cutting the surround to make it longer. Don’t know why the plug has that extra 1/4 inch ridge. Buyer beware.
