They Get Hot
The handle holders get hot while using the skillet - to the point you need a potholder to protect your hand. Also, the contoured shape makes them difficult to slip off/on the handle while cooking. I know this sounds like a good thing, but it isn't. It's very inconvenient because you have to handle the hot pan with both hands.

Protection from hot handle
The handle fit easily on my pan. The side of the pan holder is over size but still works.

Does the job.
These work great. They don’t fit my cast iron pans perfectly but they do what they’re supposed to. I also use them on my Calphalon pots and pans.

Useful in the kitchen
They are a little big for my Red Copper pan handles, but they work. I like them better than regular pot holders.
