This little scanner is the perfect size for traveling with a laptop for on-the-road sales. Easy to set up, works reliably, and has good battery life. Recommend.

Great for scanning inventory in my furniture store. I used to have the wired barcode scanner where i would have to bring my laptop with me to scan the products, this one was much easier to setup and use as I dont have to bring my laptop with me anymore, battery on the scanner last pretty long after fully charged. I've been using it for the past few days and it works flawlessly.

I work at Amazon and got it when I'm running around on my laptop. Works great inside a giant concrete building. Havent tested the distance it can be from my laptop when I'm scanning yet. Very easy to use.

I know I don't have it set up correctly but it's working for me great the way I need.Thank you

Use this for work instead of wired scanners, works great. Occasionally doesn't like to transmit the scan but is instantly resolved using the handy pocket card with restore defaults barcode. Storage mode use when out of range from my laptop with a quick scan of the pocket card to switch modes, then another quick scan when I get back to upload the data. 4-5 co workers have purchased this after seeing me demonstrate the ease of use and value. Has good battery life as well and fits right in my pocket for quick access.

The picture says it all - except this is the third one to do this. I have eight of them and they're plugged into a smart charging station that shows the charge rates for all of them. The scanners are used twice weekly for four hours each use. They function great - scan well, through auto windows, barcode on a cell phone screen. But I may have to replace them all with something that won't burn the business down. Therefore not very cost efficient.Update 12/27/23: Well, the seller, while responsive, isn't very cooperative. They have told me the only way to charge them is connect them to a PC. I guess that will make sure the USB port will not melt? But in a prior chat with them they told me they should never be plugged in to a power bank or a PC. Then they tried to tell me I was connecting them to a "fast charge" charger, which I am not. They are connected to a standard smart charging 8-port charger, managing current supply to all eight connected Trohestar scanners. And then the crowning move - they offered to refund two of the purchased scanner costs IF I WOULD CHANGE MY REVIEW. Very nice of them? but the truth is the truth.Update 12/28/23: They just keep coming at me with nonsense. I received an email from support @trohestar yesterday telling me "Good morning, You can use fast charger or don't use a USB port ". Not sure what this means - I can use a fast charger, and DON"T use a PC USB port? And then another Amazon Message telling me " ... you can no longer use fast charging in the future. You must use a computer interface or a 5V1A charger to charge." Time to switch.

This scanner doesn't work well for my needs because I use it with a tablet and connect with Bluetooth. Every time my tablet goes to sleep or I turn it off, the connection is lost so I have to reconnect every time. My previous scanners stay connected. This scanner is a much better price, but it is a huge inconvenience to reconnect every time. I checked with Amazon to see if there was a way to make it stay connected and they said there is not. It does scan UPC codes on catalogs stored on my tablet which is great for the price though!

Been using this for a few months now and I love , it was worth my money.
