Great chair, very strong.
I needed a work out chair. This is a very strong and sturdy armless chair that works great. Easy to assemble and looks nice too.

Super sturdy chair with fast shipping and great packaging at a great price
I needed a sturdy "task" chair and this fits the bill. I like the style of the chair and the fact that it is one solid piece and has no parts or joints to become loose or wobbly over time. I saw some complaints about scratches and scuffs upon delivery and was a little concerned but they must have improved their packaging for shipping. My chair was wrapped with a foam strip that was wound literally over every inch of the chair. The seat was also wrapped and then shrink wrapped to the inside of the chair back. There was also a sturdy cardboard piece between the vinyl seat and the frame for protection and this is where the four screws were taped in a heavy duty zipper type bag clearly labeled, "PARTS". My chair did not have one scratch. The wood seat which has a firm padding and a vinyl cover comes with the four screws to attach it to the chair frame. It was super easy "assembly" and it is nice to have a solid built chair. The seat seems to be the only thing that might ever have to be replaced or rather reupholstered. The back of the chair is not very high (the description states 32.2 inches tall) but there are others in this line that are taller so be sure to pay attention to the overall chair height if that makes a difference to you. I would recommend this chair to a friend and would buy it again!

Very sturdy
I was pleasantly surprised about the quality and sturdiness of these chairs. They look great and were easy to assemble. My husband is a large man and needed a dining chair to support his weight and that would be easy to stand up from a seated position, these did not disappoint. Worth the money!

I love these chairs, BUT be prepared to fix dings and/or return a few...
The chairs, when they weren't defective or scraped & scratched up, are great. They're sturdy, comfortable, and look really pretty. And, technically, the price is great (again, when they don't arrive defective, scraped, or scratched). Out of the 8 chairs I ordered, most of them had some little dings (that I could fix with a sharpie), however, two were in such incredibly bad shape (torn cushion, oil stain on cushion, undeniable scratches I couldn't possibly fix, uneven legs) that I had to return them (and, unfortunately, one of the ones I had to return was the replacement for the first return--very annoying!!!!!). The packaging is awful--they wrap the chair up, kind of mummy-like --which should protect the legs and back, but then they put NOTHING else in the huge box with it, so the chair bounces around to the degree that one of the boxes arrived with two of the chair legs sticking OUT of the box (amazingly, that chair was still in okay shape). Many of the dings and scratches actually don't seem to have come from the packaging, and had to have happened before the mummy-wrapping, though a few of the dings do look like they happened in shipping. I mention all this, despite loving the chairs, because returning them is a HUGE pain the the you-know-where, since the boxes they come in are huge and bulky and re-wrapping the chair is a pain too. I'm committed to the chairs, as I have 7 okay ones right now (two with dings I'm not happy about, but can learn to ignore) and I want a set of 8 so my fingers are crossed that the next replacement they send will be one of the good ones. The chairs are very easy to put together (just like one of the other reviewers, I just lined up the cushion with the seat flipped upside down on my dining room table, and once it was even, pushed the screws in hard enough to get them to start screwing in (though not doing them up too tight because I did have a couple lose their grip when I did them past the point of too tight, though the chairs seem to be fine even though that happened). They are, obviously, nicely priced, very comfortable, look great with my table, and are very sturdy, but only take the risk to purchase them if you're willing to go through the legwork and frustration to re-pack a few of them, return them, and wait for new ones that you may also have to return. Or get out your mega sharpie, metal file, and needle and thread to fix the dings you may receive. I am very happy with the passable chairs and am looking forward to the day when I forget what an annoyance and disappointment it's been to return the really damaged ones.

Heavy duty, smaller diner or cafe style chair
I ordered four of these, to go with a formica table-top with pedestal (from the same manufacturer). These chairs were pretty easy to construct, consisting of only two pieces: frame and seat. I did use a power drill just to neatly get through the fabric (which covers the underside of the seats) and just barely enough to start the screw holes. With the chair frame placed upside-down (on top of my workbench) and with the seat cushion underneath (and facing with top downward), I pretty much eyeballed the alignment of the seat to the frame, before installing the screws. The screws went in pretty easily, felt like a pressed wood-particle product under there. That being the case, I was VERY careful not to over tighten the screws, as I did not want to risk stripping out the screw-holes. For this reason, I would advise using an old-fashioned philips-head manual screwdriver for these. The finished product seems very sturdy, though they are smaller-sized chairs than many people might expect (from the picture). They are well-proportioned, but on a smallish scale. Something to be aware of, is that the back slats of the chair are very sturdy, but very thin. So, looking at them close up, it is obvious they are metal. So they probably won't pass as a fine dining set for home use. However, they are a very compact, sturdy solution for a small space and fairly heavy usage, which is my situation! They have nice plastic glides pre-installed on the legs, also. So, I'm happy with these, and would buy them again for a dinette-type dining set. Definitely not a formal set, though.

Chairs
I was extremely disappointed that the seats were not attached to the chair bases and there were no drill holes That was not mentioned in the description. One of the seat tops had a huge mark carved out of it. Poor quality control. Returns have to be paid by the consumer.
