I have had nothing but frustration trying to find a cell phone holder for my Promaster Solis RV but nothing else seems to work and a/c vent mounts holders will absolutely NOT work on my Promaster. I wanted to get away from the windshiled suction cup style holders. This mount stays put and holds my phone securely. Love it. My only caveat is the phone has to mount horizontally, not vertically but that's a very very minor quibble. I always know where my phone is now! So incredibly easy to use! You can put it anywhere on the dash! Unlimited placement options! Highly recommended!

This is my second one. Got one for each car. Would be 5 stars, but I took a point off because I had to cut off the 2 little "tabs" that protrude preventing the phone from sitting up straight. Probably due to the type of phone I have (Galaxy 23), but once I cut off the tabs, this is the best dash holder I ever had.

I have purchased this item for myself to travel for rental cars, as a gift for many friends, and for each of my family cars. I have a friend that uses it to hold her cowboy hat while driving, too! It is worth taking the time to give this review, because it is a good purchase. And it although it is sticky to grip the dashboard, it does not leave any residue or damage anything on the dashboard. It is easily removable to take from car to car. For use with travel, the grip lasted me at least 2 years before needing a replacement.

The stand works as advertised. It will hold the phone on landscape mode only. My phone's main screens and icon positions are on Portrait mode. Even the unlocking using face detection requires the phone to be upright. No fault of the product, but I find that only using landscape mode on my phone is not always as convenient. Depending on the surface on which it is placed, the ability to grip the phone will vary. If your dashboard is curved, the phone might not hold firmly on the stand. Also, having to put the stand on the dashboard, means that the phone is directly under the windshield and under the sun which tends to heat up the phone. In general, it is good enough for when I want to use my phone for navigation, but not the spot where I would leave it all the time. Overall the product is fine, but not as versatile as I would like.

WARNING this phone holder melts and will cause damage to your car dash area. I used sunshades in my car's windows but this has melted and ruined my dash area where it is attached. If I could I would give this all NEGATIVE stars.

Make sure you clean the area where you would like to install it. On the underneath side there is a protective film you have to peel off for it to stick to the spot properly. I have had mine in the same spot on my dash for 4 months now. In a Transit 250 Van with a sloping curved surface. If the bottom gets dirty, wash it off and clean the surface where you want it and apply it again. Best product for the money and doesn’t budge when installed properly. Clean matters.

My radio is not working so we use my phone and a bluetooth speaker to listen to music in our van. I was tired of balancing it in the cup holder since that often caused problems with bumps in the road changing our playlist. This item has a strong adhesive, it is flexible rubber that seems durable, and it does the trick quite nicely. I put it in the middle of the dash, a bit forward, to avoid blocking my view when driving (I don't choose songs when driving, I just start a playlist before I go), and it has been so very helpful. I've even used it to watch a show or two while waiting for kids to finish lessons, able to relax in the seat of my van instead of having to hold the phone up. It is worth the money you spend, especially if you are in a similar situation as I am.
