Soft leather exterior, comfortably padded insole with good arch support, and a heel that provides just over an inch of additional height. There are several issues:1) These shoes are primarily sized per European standards and don't match up well with US sizes. So the way the shoes fit isn't quite what I'd usually expect.2) My son and I went back and forth as to the strong chemical odor coming from the shoes. The best we can come up with is that it smells like an adhesive used in the construction process. I can't smell the leather, only the adhesive, and unfortunately it's strong enough to be noticed even while wearing the shoes.3) The side of the shoes comes up just enough to hit the bottom of my ankle (lateral malleolus, to be precise). This is uncomfortable at best, and painful after a day of wearing the shoes such that I'd need to put in an additional support layer to bring my feet up fractionally so this doesn't happen.These shoes show promise, as I like the attractive smooth straight-forward formality, so if we can fix up the sizing issue, the aroma, and the hardness of the top of the sides, we'd be perfect.

You know that wonderful smell of great soft leather? This shoe doesn't have that. Instead, it has the strongest chemical scent of any clothing, leather or footwear product I've ever used in my life. Simply overpowering. Not sure why the shoe has to smell like this, unless the leather is treated with a ton of chemicals. So far, 24 hours later, it has not subsided a bit. I can easily smell it from across the room.The shoe also runs small. I wear a pretty standard 10M or 44 in Euro shoe sizes. The toe box is tapered and very narrow and cramped. Maybe it will break in at some point, but at this moment, they are not very comfortable.On the plus side, they actually look pretty nice. Not sure how they will hold up over time. But the chemical scent and smaller-than-expected toe box make this a 3 star shoe, in my view.

They are slip on style and feature a double tassel and decorative, double stitching at the toe. They have a lightweight, non-slip, rubber sole and the upper is stitched to the sole. They are completely lined in very soft leather except at the heel, which is lined in suede to prevent heel slippage. The insole features a thick, memory foam, padding so they are well cushioned.These arrive with a dust bag, a shoe horn, and a foam, shoe shine block included to protect your shoes and keep them looking sharp.The sizing seems accurate but these are really narrow. If you have a wide foot or even a generous, average width foot, these are not for you. Men with average width feet will likely experience a break in period for them to stretch a bit.These are beautifully made. The do have a very strong odor of shoe dye and rubber when you first open the box. We let them air out on our covered front porch for a day and the odor dissipated. They are suitable for wearing with a suit or casual office wear.

Dark brown in color, the leather has a smooth finish and with the exception of the rubberized sole the shoes are all leather although they are not marked with the information. The innersole has a memory foam core for comfort. The loafer has a double tassel embellishment and the overall look is classic.The in-house male wears a size 10 shoe and although he usually buys regular width shoes his feet are slightly narrow.This pair in a size 10 fit him well but they are definitely narrower than a regular width so that may present a problem to wearers with average width feet.The shoes are clearly skillfully made and include thoughtful accessories like a shine block, shoe horn and dust/travel drawstring bags but their content should be marked on the shoe somewhere and the fit is too narrow.

I ordered these shoes for myself to wear whenever I need to go to any formal or semi-formal occasions. I like the shade of brown color and it was as I expected it to be, and leather material. These shoes fit me well at the back and sides of the shoes but not the front. I don’t like how the front cover area does not have enough room for the toes; as they are the only uncomfortable parts of the shoes during my 5 hours of wearing them to go out. My toes became sore after about 2 hours. The leather is good quality and the shoes offer decent support when I walk with them. Though I like that the shoes are breathable and don’t cause my feet to get sweaty even after wearing them for several hours.

I wanted to like these shoes because they are pretty nice looking and the leather feels nice. Unfortunately, the sizing is much different from US brands and these are not close to fitting me. I wear a US size 9 shoe and ordered these shoes in size 9. They are marked size 42, which is usually the equivalent of a US size 8.5. The actual size is much longer than my other shoes and also somewhat narrower. Since these are slip-on shoes, the extra length means they won't stay on my feet. They really need to provide a detailed size chart if they want to sell these by mail order instead of in shoe stores.

We have several pairs of Urbane shoes, and we like this brand. However, these Urbane Shoes Co Handcrafted Genuine Cowhide Leather Shoes run narrow. While the shoe is well made, and has a good design, the narrow width is a deal breaker for us. The shoe is a classic tassel loafer, and I love the style. I just wish it fit him. We had to gift this to our nephew. He loves them. They are comfortable for him. They have a good rubber sole that is good for all weather wear.

These shoes fit my partner perfectly (11.5). He things the design of the shoe is classy and he has worn them multiple times in the last few weeks. One thing that he loves is the soft bottom, which allows him to walk around the office and not sound like a woman wearing heels (his words). He did not have any issues or discomfort wearing these shoes all day.
