I just filled them up with various bits and screws and other stuff. No rips, no tears.

These are unmistakably clear. Light passes through them barely changed at all Not optically clear, not water clear… but certainly clear enough for any purpose I can imagine. Not at all opaque. Not “not transparent.” They close and lock with a zipper-like motion. They do not have buttons or snaps nor a fold-flap closure. Opening is similar: they unlock with an action that is more like a zipper than it is anything else. As expected. No surprises about that. Now I think I have a handle on this whole mil thing. At10 paces I can guess at the mil gauge of your bag or sack, anyone’s really. What I can tell you for sure: 6.4 mil is thiiiiccccck. You do not see that everyday. And when you do, you say to yourself “thick plastic on that bag.” It is pretty unmistakable. That is why I found myself rummaging around in the drawer where I keep things for measuring other things to find my “Vernier caliper(s?)” (not sure if they are like scissors, only coming in pairs, or not.) I may only use the thing(s?) 2 or three times a year, but I can pretty well tell that I’m not using it completely wrong. It registers somewhere south of the 4mil border on these clear, zip-closure bad boys. 3.99mils is not a scandalous paucity of materials, no devastating girth dearth. Unfit for my purpose? nah, not even close to unfit. Not trying to carry mono-doses of leaden tire strafe. Acceptable. Not at all out of the ordinary. NOT 6.4 mil. I feel like the universe heard my request for absuuuuurd thick baggies and nope-d me hard. “Stfu.” (Said the universe.) “Here. You can have these. They’re fine. You’re fine. You are not that special. Go write an honest review and never stop never stopping.” Oh and maybe, “Be less profligate.” 6.4 mil is crazy. These are ())sane. Just know that you are ordering these to amused by their armored car energy you receive them and thick, “oh, duh, that was a silly thing to jump on.” Hopefully you had more than the one item in your order today so that there is still the chance for one of those other items to be an amusing surprise. Keep your leaden tire strafe elsewhere.

These little zip slide bags are the perfect size for storing opened packets of garden seeds over the Winter. Several packets fit in one baggie. No need to transfer seeds out of the original packets. Also great if you collect and store your own tomato, onion, and other veggie seeds.

Purchased in mid 2021 in the hopes of travel (alas) but they fit my US passport perfectly to protect it from sweat in a hidden traveler's wallet. Also still fits in my travelers wallet.A little big for a vaccine card, but I've been using one for that too.
