SACHSSG314036 Lift Support, black

These are advertised as Sachs brand hood supports however they are labeled Stabilus brand. Not sure if they are one in the same company. With that said they are easy to install, less than 10 minutes and work as intended. They fit and fixed the problem of the hood not staying up. They are also made in the USA so that it a plus.

These lift supports are a great replacement for the OEMs. They are good quality and fit. Also they are very easy to install. (It only took me two minutes to install.)Once installed I noticed that these are much stronger than the OEM lifts were when new. After I release the hood latch and raise the hood about an inch, the lifts will open the hood without further assistance. The OEMs would require me to lift the hood about 6 inches to a foot when they were new.Some other benefits include:1) the cheapest option at the time of purchase2) lifetime warranty3) manufactured in the USA (mine were made in North Carolina)Overall these are an excellent value considering the above.

It did the job. I am very happy. Easy un and install instructions were included. I had it in my mind from another vehicle that I only had one left sided support. as I opened the hood there were TWO. I added the one and it still did the job.

I can buy 4-5 sets of these compared to the weathertech brand they replaced(for a truck tool box). they appear to be identical other than the name (length and weight they can support). Great product i will buy these in the future

Hood on my 2005 ram 2500 got to where it would not stay up on its own at all. Could not possibly be easier to change. Perfect fit, 2 minute install, works flawlessly. Pretty low price, can't complain.

I bought these to replace the ones on my Dodge Ram 2500. The fit perfect and continue to work well. they were very easy to install. I am very pleased.

Worked perfectly on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. I added some grease to the ball joint and snapped right on. Super easy to install and provides original factory hood support.

Snapped right in and corrected all issues with the hood not staying up. These aftermarket replacement supports look very similar to the OEM parts and function equivalent to the originals.

Easy to install and works like new.
