NikeGuard Stay II Strap

The "Two Pack" option is misleading. And I do not appreciate that. One package holds two shin guard straps, as expected. So when a person sees "Two Pack" option listed among a "One Pack" option....and a "One Size" option at under $7...it's normal for the buyer to assume two packs of TWO shin guard straps are included. Not many people are looking for a single shin guard strap.

This is extremely deceiving to the consumer. There are two options for this, one pack and two pack. The two pack option does NOT include two SEPARATE pairs. This only has two stay puts which makes anything over the retail price of $7.00 a complete rip off. I got my package and they have retail price stickers on them for $7.00. I paid $8.99. I thought I would've at least received two pairs. Not a happy customer here. Don't get tricked like I did!

Product works like it's supposed to. BUT... the marketing is horrible and misleading. The 2 pack has 2 stays not 4. The way they market these makes the purchaser believe they are getting 4 stays, and above in-store price. If it wasn't such a hassle I'd send these back and get them from the store.

This review is approximately 2 months after purchase, but diving straight in I'm fairly happy with these. My legs are muscular so I wondering how uncomfortable they might end up becoming strapped tightly around my Achilles, if they are worn too low then it may become a problem for some players but I wear mine about 5 inches from the top of my foot. The elasticity is great, it is strong yet has good rigidity, the velcro has not become as frayed and wild like cheap velcro tends to do when used heavily. These are so much better than using sleeves to me because I can slide my shinnies on and off in seconds. My only suggestion for those considering this product is make sure you use a quality sock, because if they are too loose and dont have enough compression then they can slide and you'll be adjusting them more than you'd like. Another thing that may be confusing to purchasers is the description of the product, it says a 2 pack which means just 2 guard stays, it can mislead you into thinking they may be getting 4 guard stays instead of just 2( a one oack) so that is very misleading but I read that in another review and it made sense.Pros: good quality, great elasticity, faster than sleeves, adjustable, good price, color options.Cons: package description, can slide with loose fitting socks, slight irritation with Achilles.All in all I would definitely recommend this product to those on the fence about this product. I've always wondered how well they work and how comfortable they are. I play fairly often and use these all the time with confidence that I wont be running up and down the pitch with flopping shinnies or worry about losing one in a challenge. I am happy with my purchase, I own 3 pair of these and for the price I am happy with this product. I hope this review helps some of you.

We have had a variety of socks over the years of playing competitive soccer. we have tried a variety of shin guards, straps and stays. One game a ref would not let the kids wear straps because the color was not matching their uniform. We buy a european uniform and didn't think we could find the correct shade of nearly gold but still yellow. Thankfully these were acceptable. A great thing because we have now had that ref several times!

These stays fit my legs really well. I’m just under 6’, 170 lbs, with a calf that is a slightly more than 14 inches at its widest point. I also have the Adidas stays and they also fit me well, but I like that you can put these Nike ones on after putting on your shoes since they are Velcro.

As others have stated, this listing is extremely misleading! I ordered a “2 pack” but only got one set of guard stays. Since a normal Nike guard stay pack consists of 1 set (consisting of TWO guard stays) for $7, I thought the “2pack” would be TWO SETS for the $12. As my picture shows, the guard stays also arrived with the packaging already cut open. Not sure why that is because like I said, a normal pack of guard stays already comes in a pair. The guard stays themselves look fine and will serve their purpose, but I would recommend just going to a store and avoid ordering from this scam of a listing!

My kids love to use these for soccer. Keeps the shin guards in place and they don't have to use shinguard sleeves. Easier to take these off and remove shin guards after a game (no need to remove shoes to do so). More comfortable than other options for keeping shin guards in place.

The media could not be loaded.  So, I had a fairly specific need - for GPS Watch(es) to be visible when running in long-sleeve top/jacket in Winter (etc). (Apologies if this doesn't apply to you.)This product met that need - very well.For the longer details, the video discusses these products (in order):-   - this product-  -  -  More generally, the strap(s):- fits well around the wrist - it would probably be too small for biceps, calfs, etc;- has good velcro;- is double-stitched around velcro, which should aid longevity;- is quite thin - and would NOT work well as a sweatband (imho).I hope this helps. :-)

These are really good and do the job perfectly. People who are saying these are too small are probably using them wrong. These are designed to be worn over socks on the ANKLE, below the shin pads. They are not for wearing at the top of the socks (those are sock ties).

Using as Captains arm bands for U6 group. Perfect for the job.

Bought these to hold my daughters shin pads up at football but they are odd. One is well made and the Nike tick sewn on beautifully, the other is cheap material and the Nike tick looks like its been glued on.

Not very good for sucking away sweat on a run. After a few wipes it was soaked. Very disappointed with this product
