I changed out the pickups and pots of my stock Yamaha 174 with great results. These pots are larger and I had to drill out the shaft holes. Also, the fit in the cavity was very tight. But would recommend these.

All four of these AOT spec, CTS pots measured right to spec. I replaced the oem/Gibson branded CTS pots in a Murphy Lab’s R9 Les Paul. The stock pots were all under 500k……low 400’s for two of them. These properly spec’d and tight tolerance pots from AOT made a meaningful improvement in the guitars clarity. Recommended!

As far as I can tell, these are real cts pots. The price for this kit seems a little too good to be true… I’ve been a guitar tech for about 15 years and my review would be about 4.5-5 stars given these parts all work as intended… but beware… the pots don’t have spacers, washers, lock washers, or nuts on them. Maybe that is why this is so budget friendly?What you get is a little baggie with four cts 525k pots, a couple of orange caps, and a piece of wire for grounding.Kinda frustrating when you need to get your work done but can’t because of missing parts…**update. I happened through a box of parts and I found an old set of Gibson pots that had the nuts on them and, thankfully, they fit. I don’t particularly care to have to piece together work -unless it’s a personal experiment… but this isn’t that cool when when doing work for a client.Amazon wanted me to say something about value for money and ease of install…I do believe this kit has potential to have awesome value. I will not say it’s easy to install. You need to have some skill to install these parts. Know how to solder and read a schematic or wiring diagram on guitar wiring. Above all else, it’s quite a tedious job wiring up an es-335 type guitar.

Amazing ! I’m getting readings of 562, 558, 543 and 549 KOhms out of these pots!! Did you know the higher the readings, the less muddy a guitar sound? Particularly useful in a very dark 80’s Les Paul like in my case. 100% recommended!

I got these to upgrade from a set of Alpha pots, along with cloth pushback wire for a new harness. I’m very fond of the orange drop caps, and at this price for the caps and pots, I thought it was well worth the try! I have yet to install them, but my first impression of the pots is very good: nice, tight feel to the rotation without being too stiff. Arrived very quickly...so quickly, in fact, that they beat the delivery notification, lol! Packed well in a padded envelope. Very pleased! Will be coming back for more of these for my non-active guitars!
