Nail Clippers with Catcher Preventing Splash Fingernail Toenail Clippers Nail Cutter Stainless Steel Sharp Sturdy Trimmer Set for Men Women

I never thought I'd be writing a review about nail clippers, but I'm so happy with my purchased I decided to take a few mins and share. These nail clippers are great for a couple of reasons:1. I love the gunmetal color, the contrasting black "grip" and the design overall.2. They are great quality -- they have some heft to them but are still maneuverable and good for precision. It feels like a quality pair of clippers vs. some cheapie dollar store garbage. The "catcher" has a nice feel/grip to it.3. Sharp! They cut the nail clean and without any extra effort.4. Design/function is great. There's an integrated file on the inner part of the lever which is perfect for filing and of similar good quality.5. This might be minor, but the packaging/presentation is so good. Again, it looks and feels like a quality product.The only con I can note is that because it's made to "catch" clippings, it has this feel of pull when cutting. So it takes some getting used to (it draws the nail a bit so that the cut ends up with the clipping pulled into the catch). Still, because of it's excellent sharpness and ability to be precise, just adjust accordingly. Overall, I'd highly recommend (otherwise I wouldn't bother spending time w a review haha).

These are the clippers I've always wanted! Most clippers are designed so your thumb slips down and you lose your grip and leverage for the clip. Not these! They have an indentation your thumb rests in that solves the slippage problem. One can clip away with losing their grip! The clippings stay put and do not fly off, allowing you to empty them instead! The nail file works great as your nail does not just skim across without being filed much like other brands. They seem to be made of quality materials and they are nice looking too!

They operate okay and the nips don’t fly off in every direction, however, I have a hard time seeing and getting in close to nip off a little side snag. I’ve also notice that the clippings will spill back out when holding the nippers head down over a toe or whatever. At least they end up in one spot on the floor. That is still an improvement over shooting out and disappearing under the couch or behind the John etc.

These clippers have a feature I'm not entirely sure I understand and an undocumented feature that would make me buy them again and again. The feature i don't completely understand (actually I do) is a shroud around the clipper that is supposed to keep your nails from flying when you cut them. Results are going to vary depending on your nails... BUT the best thing about these clippers is that they are SO sharp. Not only do they work great on my fingers, they cut my toenails so easily. I gave up using nail clippers on those years ago because they are so hard, but these cut right through and leave a nice smooth edge. Definitely worth buying.

I have had a half dozen different clippers over the past several years, looking for the perfect brand. I found it in this product. The clippers are solid and weighty, they cut easily, although a clipping or two will escape now and then, but it’s not a problem. In other makes, a common issue is the top piece one presses on often slips to the side and the finger falls off. That doesn’t occur with these. Another advantage is the mechanism functions easily and spares those arthritic thumbs. And they are very fairly priced. I immediately bought a second pair for my wife. Obviously, I recommend them highly.

Two well built finger / toe nail clippers that come packaged together in a little black box. There is one larger clipper and one smaller one (roughly half the size of the larger one). The clippers are comprised of stainless steel mitigating any smudges or potential rust damage. The best component is a compartment underneath each clipper that catches clippings as they are clipped off, so you don't have to clean up your nails or encounter a stray nail clipping weeks later. A great purchase.

I've bought several nail clippers before and always hated to clean up the nail clippings after. I just got these clippers and they are nice looking, sharp and a bottom tray connected to the clippers to catch the toenail pieces. So I ordered these because the description said, "No Splash" toenail clippers...well, some of the nail pieces do "splash" and not in up in the tray holder...meaning you still have to pick up or vacuum some of the toe or finger nail pieces. So I can't give this product more than a 3 stars. I like the quality and I do recommend this product...but it does "splash."

I was so excited to receive my clipper set. My husband received a set in a gift bag and I loved the smooth feel and clip so I ordered myself a set. Unfortunately, my set was missing the fingernail clipper. I chose not to return it because they are now currently unavailable ☹️
