I like to use these to gently massage my scalp. They are sturdy and work well! Should last a lifetime!

My daughter and I have a LOT of long, curly, wavy hair, her moreso than me at this stage in life. These combs are standing up to the abuse very well. The teeth haven't bent or broken off, wow do they feel great on my scalp, and the combs are just so PRETTY! We got the Rose gold version. We also got a black one from another seller that is in her bathroom, they are ALL holding up well after about a month of use. No problems with the plating at all, and my set (the rose gold) are on a rough slate tile counter, and I'm a klutz who drops everything all the time, so it's not as though they're being pampered.

Dog ate my plastic comb. I thought this my be too hard on my scalp or break when I travel with it but it’s been great.

I have long thick badly managed man hair, but on occasion, I need to clean up and go to meetings at work and such. I've been using a plastic comb with broken teeth for like 2 years, so I thought it was time for an upgrade. I was a little concerned when I received these combs because they are pretty lightweight. However, they are in fact very sturdy and work as expected. These things will probably last a lifetime.

The comb is super thin, easy to bend if you’re not careful.

I was looking for metal combs to cut down on rough edges that damage hair, especially stainless steel combs, but this set is absolutely neither smooth-edged nor stainless steel. It's some cheap silver-toned metal with very sharp and jagged flashing along the "seams" where the metal was poured or stamped or whatever. Out of morbid curiosity, I tested the comb on a couple things, and some of the most jagged edges of the tines were able to cut paper and shred string. There is no way I would let this anywhere near my hair.

This is just what I was looking for! I can comb through my hair and there are no static, fly-away hair, just smooth and sleek. This set is light-weight because it is made of Aluminum, not stainless steel. Absolutely perfect for my needs. Very satisfied!
