I liked the book but would have been better had it had color photographs. I really expected it to have them, so I was somewhat disappointed.

A cookbook with no pictures it’s something out of the 1800s and this book has virtually no pictures, so you are cooking dishes you don’t know and don’t know what they should look like. For any non-Korean it’s like piecing together a jigsaw with no reference and if you are Korean then you would have no use of this book. Printed on very very cheap paper it was a real disappointment

I perhaps should have read more reviews before buying. A bit basic with no photos to illustrate the recipes.

Seriously disappointed.Loads of info about kitchen utensils, recipes for pickles, soups, stews and drinks.Hard to navigate too.Don’t bother!
