This works very well. There tends to be noise while playing back on the device but when the audio file is transferred to the laptop the sound is perfect. The software wasn't great at transcribing the sound to text. I think I need to practice more so that it can recognise my voice pattern. The product was as described and arrived in good time.

had this a couple of days and still fiddling with set up. Instructions are very poor reaccessing the menus and it doesn't seem at all intuitive, so I probably have a way to go to optimise functionality. Thus far despite doign a full 20 mins dictation for the set up training ,the dragon transcribing is so dreadful as to be unuseable. I have used another version of dragon (9, which is quite old) so I know it should be capable of better. perhaps you get what you pay for with a low cost add on to the machine.I'm mystified about the claims for this working in a lecture environment, as in a smaller team meeting it didn't seem to pick everyone up ( I know that is not what it is designed for, but I can't see it working at a range of 15m when it can't cope with 1.5m).I hope with persistance that I may be able to transcribe my dictation, but not currently all that optimistic. the playback of recordings to date at close range do seem perfectly audible and my diction is very clear...so may be I've done something daft in set up.at present rather disappointeddisappointed at present..

Very prompt delivery.Packaging adequate.Excellent device, especially if you are dictating on the move.This learns as you use it, getting used to any specialist words or phrases over time.Allow it to scan your Outlook and Word files on a regular basis, and it adds more to it's vocab list, very handy.Only slight niggle is that it took me a bit of getting used to navigating files and functions when not connected to PC; the old adage of practice makes perfect springs to mind...
