With the new COVID-19 protocols at my kids' school, it was essential for us to have an effective thermometer. I went through about 3 others and this is where we FINALLY landed! I tried two others from Costco and they were so inconsistent (our temps range from 96 to 101 within seconds of taking it) that they were useless.For the price point, you can even buy two, one for the home and one for your car!! This is definitely the way to go!

This thermometer has been accurate, easy to use and the read out is instantaneous. It was also a low cost investment in COVID tools.

It took me a while to learn to use it but I like very much now.

Okay, I was guilty of having the incorrect setting (house) instead of the person (head) when setting this thermometer. Therefore, I thought it didn't work. My son says, "That's a good product, we have one at work." I explained that it didn't read above over 88 degrees. I asked his to take a look and he showed me how to change it. He says, press the trigger, press the M until it changes to a person's head. ALL SET!

The product comes in a sealed box. Smaller than expected. It works as advertised - taking forehead and room temperature, when switched. The price point is acceptable for the product because it is not design for heavy duty and IMO, for intermittent household use only. Comes with two batteries and pouch. Easy to use.
