Ok. It’s a hard thing to admit, since I enjoy many aspects of my kitchen- tools, appliances - who’s presence facilitate tasks daily to ease task & speed prep. But this GEM, is my favorite! Used daily. Spouse thought it was dumb, but with kids & life distractions- I had burnt a “Few” pots before thus purchase. New Parent / childcare/ caregiver/ pets not people / no pets - no people But Busy - This is perfect. After the death of a “few” pots- I recalled a boiling water pot, I’d used in France many years ago - hadn’t “taken” state side looked for years. Stopped looking. At a retreat, I fell in love & came home raving of the cool light up hot water pitcher- I think my burnt pot issue had a solution- finally. Spouse thought it may be “redundant” but will give it a chance. Mutually not thrilled to have another thing on our counter, we embarked on our new hot water journey. I use hot water ALL year. Why I waited 19 ( almost 20 years) to buy - Why (still) I don’t know. This pot is Amazing. Spouse enjoys it too! Heats faster in morning than our “ pot method “ & he feels better about walking away. Heats to RAPID BOIL. I put it in my thermos & it’s still tea bag ready at lunch. ( yes, that’s more about my thermos, BUT Hot not tepid - since VERY HOTwhen put in. Win to me.) During infant/ cancer care/ dog care & life distractions - this is a tool I wish I had in those times. Can’t get time back now, But MAYBE it can help you!!!!! Hard day+ empty burnt pot - double sad. My days are brighter & prep Waaaay EASIER. WE Forgave counter issue, since it’s used so much. Thanks for good quality. Waited to use before posting review. Design wise: Easy to pick up. When full, I can put a hand under it to pour. I like the lines. It’s nice to look at. Not too bulky & not too small. Yes- I use to Max fill line 3-5 times per day some days (esp. winter weekends). So far- so good. I do WAIT between uses. So it has cool down time. 1-2 hours. Haven’t had to do vinegar cleaning yet. Easy to use & so much faster than my pots - even our small one(4 cups), on a rapid heat burner. Only thing I’d change is option for light on / off. When I get up late & only use night lights, The light on to pour my cup will be a nice addition. Or light off during day. Or Light on while hot. I do like that my kids know, The blue light means Hot water & be careful. Excellent safety aspect- imho. Tea time is on! Coffee too. Love this product! “Happiness cannot be bought”- this came pretty close to a challenge of that statement for me. I’m very happy with this. Thanks for reading. Absolutely love our electric kettle. It heats water quickly and is easy to use. It holds plenty of water for both my husband and I to use for oatmeal/tea/hot chocolate. Worth the money.

Originally I bought this for my travel trailer but recently discovered it's too much wattage but it's perfect for my home. Heats up the water quickly. The blue light is great especially if in a dimly lit room as it illuminates the space. Sometimes the lid sticks but that's okay, I'm used to how it operates. Easy to clean and I don't find any issues with leakage. Also its a great size for a lot of beverages or just one at a time.

Probably costs about a third of a penny or less of the cost per usage. That's to say this thing pays itself off pretty quickly if your household drinks a ton of tea. Had my first one of these for over five years, it's probably been cycled 8-10 times (sometimes more) daily over that span. It finally stopped heating up after much abuse. Roommate tried to replace it with a slightly cheaper one from Target and with a week, we're ordering another one of these to replace it. Good quality, works well, looks nice. You can really pour nicely out of this.

I bought this kettle June 2021 and have been very happy with it. It heats up very quickly. Starting this year around October 2025 it stopped automatically shutting off when it reached the right temperature. It still heats up, but I just have to be aware to turn it off myself. Hopefully this this timeline is a good data point for potential buyers.

We use this all day every day. So handy, heats quickly and doesn't take up a lot of counter space.

I really like this cordless electric kettle, and I use it multiple times a day, every day to boil water for French press coffee, tea, ramen, rice, or any other reason I need hot water quickly. It has a high capacity, boils super fast, the handle stays cool, and the spout pours cleanly. The glass makes it easy to see the water level, and it looks nice sitting on the counter. Overall it's just a good design. I had this same model previously for about 3 years before it stopped working, and bought it a second time because, for as heavily as I use it, I was satisfied with that longevity for the relatively inexpensive price. The second one only lasted about 8 months before it stopped working, which was disappointing, since this is a great kettle and otherwise very durable. In both cases, something seems to have failed in the on/off switch on the handle. Here's why I felt compelled to write this review long after I bought this kettle: yes, the switch failed after only 8 months, but this has a 1 year warranty, so I contacted the manufacturer, Mueller, and they replied within hours. Then within 24 hours they shipped me a replacement kettle. I am seriously impressed with the responsiveness and customer service, and totally delighted that I can continue to use this kettle, because I'd be hard pressed to find another one that measures up.

We bought this in Aug 2022, and really loved it. Love the glass, so we can see how much water we have, and the blue light, and it did the job just fine. However, just this week, Jan 2026, it's started to not shut off properly once it's done boiling. It'll click and then keep boiling, and sometimes it does turn off, and then turns on again. But it worked well for a few years. I'm not sure we can expect better for the price??

It works great and I really, really like seeing that beautiful blue colour when I turn this kettle on in the mornings.

It's qieter than my old one, I should say it's a quiet kettle, it pours well boils quickly, lovely blue colour, it will show limescale obviously, within a few days, mine isn't because I'm using bottled spring water in it.i did use tap water for a day or two and the kettle looked very murky and I did have to put limescale remover in it and clean the metal plate in the bottom. I live in an extremely hard water area so that is why. It's a good kettle and it's very sparkly and clear blue when it's boiling, so I would say it's probably better for people who live in soft water areas. (if you want it to stay clear) good price for a nice looking kettle. The lid when you press for opening it's a press down and slightly back action as someone else has said. for it to pop open.

As Advertized works great, original package was a little beaten up but no damage

This seems a good kettle apart from the lid release, which is a bit hit and miss.

while boiling water if you lift it it does not turn off automatically, opening the lid is random and you have to tap the trigger several times
