EpicareTM - threading-inspired facial hair remover. It is a simple tool for safe and easy facial hair removal. Natural, safe and convenient, this small device with its spring action removes hair from the roots. FAQ: How does EpicareTM work? All you need to do is to bend the spring into an inverted "U", place it against the area on the face where hair is to be removed and rotate EpicareTM in an inward and outward motion to manually remove hair on your face. Why choose EpicareTM over other hair removal products? With EpicareTM, there is no more ripping off the top layer of skin with waxing that leaves irritation, redness, scarring, and eliminates skin's elasticity. No more harmful epilating crèmes that dissolve hair along with the skin's top layer, possibly causing chemical burns. No more bleaching, that doesn't even solve the facial hair problem, but supplies your skin with dangerous chemicals, leaving you with uneven skin tone an possible pigmentation. No endless tedious tweezing. No need to spend thousands of dollars in laser hair removal salons - besides, this method is not effective on everyone's skin and there is a chance of scarring. Is hair removal by EpicareTM permanent? No. The hair will grow back. But the good news is that with EpicareTM is that you do not have to wait for the hair to grow to a certain length before you remove it. The moment it is slightly "out there", even not really visible yet, EpicareTM can be used. How long before I need to use EpicareTM again? Hair re-growth varies from person to person, and depends on your hair type. It may take anywhere from 3 days to 4 weeks before you need to use EpicareTM again.

It takes getting used to.
I am not going to lie, it hurts the first of couple of times after the initial usage. However, the skin on your upper lip will get used to it. I hate waxing so I'd rather do this than wax. Also, it's more convenient than going to a salon to get the hair on your upper lip removed by some stranger. It hurts, but it's worth it.

UPDATED: Really works, Very inexpensive, Hurts like hell
UPDATE: No, I just can't handle the pain anymore! I've switched to a neat little groomer that removes the hair at the surface (no pulling, etc). The pain of using this, plus the fact that I already have tendonitis from computer and artwork, made the effort of twirling the dang spring very tiresome. At one point I think I had an ingrown hair on my cheek from it. Anyway, due to the pain (literal and ease-of-use pain) I found myself using it less and less. Groomer works great for me, extremely quick and pain free!--------------------------------I have been using the epicare device for over 3 hairless weeks. At first I did a tiny patch, about 1 sq. inch, and had no bad reaction, so completed the job over the next few days. I found it easy to learn, the hardest part being continuing all over my face while it hurts so bad!! I was shocked - didn't know if I should cry or get angry, especially on the very sensitive spots (upper lip, near eye). Afterward I gently splash my face with tepid water, then very gently apply witch hazel, then make sure not to touch my face for at least an hour.I love the epicare and can't see going back to peach fuzz as long as I have the choice. Everyone looks younger and more attractive with a hairless face - that's just the society with live in.I am a 40+, caucasian women with sensitive skin and mild rosacea. I think regular all-over facial waxing will make my redness increase, plus I can't afford it (time- or money-wise). I can't believe that threading would hurt any less, and I've seen those threading ladies make pass after pass after pass over someone's cheeks - ouch!

Too much twisting for me!
It takes a while to get the hang of the twisting and it did work well for me on the upper lip and cheeks (lighter, thinner hairs here). However, it DID NOT work for me on the few darker but longer than stubble chin and neck hairs. Since these areas are not the flattest and the skin is hardest to pull taut, the twisting and turning was tiresome and was not grasping the hairs I wanted -- more like pulling on the light hairs that I didn't know were there! These are my problem areas and it was the reason I bought it, so I am disappointed that it did not work. It wasn't painful (I'm used to threading and I've tweezed in the past), but too much twisting for me! Back to trimming until I receive the epilator I just ordered.

Does the job
This product does a great job on my upper lip. I have fine hair and I find that it easily and fairly gently removes it. A bit of caution for first time users - If you do too much the first use, it can irritate the skin. It is best to do it initially in phases. As long as the upper lip is not too hairy, I find this works wonderfully without skin irritation.

Epicare is GREAT
I was a little skeptical about this product but decided to try it after reading other reviews and wathcing some videos. It works GREAT!! It stung a little bit in some sensitive areas at first, but it doesn't really even do that anymore. It's actually kind of addicting! I absolutely love the results and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get rid of that peach-fuzz hair on chin and upper lip, etc. The more you use it, the less you NEED to use it, if that makes sense! It is definitely worth the $15!!

Does the job, but very very painful!
I purchased this product hoping for something that would eliminate my hair problem or at least help keep it under control. This product does exactly what it says it will do and works well. Very durable, you don't have to worry about breaking because it is indeed a spring. But WOW, does it ever hurt. I just can not put myself through that pain on a daily basis and if you don't do it just correctly it increases the pain by 1000 times. This method of hair removal is much worse than waxing. If I had thicker, tougher skin that wasn't so sensitive I would love this product but it is just too much pain for me to handle!

Smooth, hairless face!!
This thing works! No more expensive threading! It really is a beauty must! Easy to learn in seconds. I've plucked, waxed and threaded so for me it doesn't hurt at all.

only good for mustache
ladies; this works good for that fuzzy upper lip hair but thats it. it hurts more than waxing though. feels like a million little tweezers working at the same time. . . doesnt work anywhere else expect maybe the top of your eyebrows.

Painful - I found it cuts hair rather than pulling it out from the root
I have a fairly high pain threshold but I actually found this too painful to use! I would try to brave the pain, but I found the results aren't worth it anyway because the product accidentally CUTS hair, rather than removing hair straight from the root. I found my hair growing back a few days later which doesn't happen with threading. I'm not sure if this is the case for everybody when using Epicare. Maybe I'm using it slightly wrong? Just save yourself time and money and watch some Youtube tutorials on threading - that's what I did.

A fantastic alternative to plucking with great results
After plucking and plucking over the years, my regrowth is quite course in places. This little gadget is quick and easy to use and takes about 95% of the hair on my upper lip I would say. As I have some course hairs, it doesn't take some of those and I have to still pluck a few stray ones out but all in all its a great little product. It doesn't slow the regrowth so you need to use it daily or every other day for best results. It can hurt a bit when it takes a lot of hair at once but pain is minimal. Don't use it just before going out because it does make your skin really red and it takes a while to settle down afterwards. I would recommend it for upper lip and perhaps chin if you need to remove hair from there but not eyebrow shaping because you can't get any finesse with it in that area of the face and could end up taking a big chunk out of your eyebrow if you aren't careful!

Easy facial hair remover - simple to use.
been using these for years and my previous supplier is now out of business, Amazon delivery and ordering is second to none and I will definitely be back for more soon.Epicare is easy to use, no mirror needed after the first few times. It doesn't hurt, although I have been using them so long I am perhaps used to them now. Only a few pounds for a hair remover that is so simple and easy to use, no chemicals used at all, can be put in your bag for travelling etc and best of all, it really does work to remove facial hair gently and efficiently. Can and do thoroughly recommend.

Don't think about it just buy it!
I am a novice reviewer despite purchasing loads online but this product is SO GOOD it's a must for anyone who suffers from facial hair. I am 60 years old and started using creams on my face before I was 20 the hair just got coarser . I then tried electrolysis, I did this for quite a number of years suffering broken skin and quite a lot of pain. The only thing that disappeared was money from my pocket, certainly not the hair on my face. Then I tried 6 sessions of Laser at considerable expense only to be told my hair was too fair for this to be effective. In between these treatments we had waxing, shaving and then threading. I found threading to be good but because it was my whole face it cost a lot so I ended up back where I started with cream.Whilst browsing on Amazon for something to help with this problem I came across this product and I have to say I was AMAZED at how effective this was. O.K. it stings a bit at first but let's face it the majority of us have been through childbirth so whats a little nip here or there. I cleared my face over a 24 hour period going back and doing a little bit at a time. It is worth the money, the stinging and whatever time it takes to get these kind of results. My face has NEVER been smoother.I am now going to order another for my handbag and these will definable be on the xmas list for stocking fillers for my daughters.

It works!
I am one of those unlucky ladies who suffers with facial/neck hair and I am constantly looking for easy and quick ways to remove it. I used to wax but thats pretty messy so I went on to a facial epilator which works well but does tend to cause ingrowing hairs. As the reviews for these gadgets seemed favourable I thought I would try it and I'm absolutely amazed because it actually works very well on fine facial hair; is blissfully easy to use and once you get going is not really painful at all (you do need to twist fairly quickly). I still need to pluck the odd darker/courser hair but thats no real issue. For the price very well worth trying.
