Do not confuse this antenna with the garbage antennas, which looked similar, that were being sold over the past few years. This antenna is excellent, pulls in distant signals and is easy and quick to install. You'll need a mast to put it on as it needs to be elevated and it attaches to the reduced end of a mast pipe. My tower locations are scattered in 360 degrees but I was able to find a sweet spot which picks them all up at 3 to 5 bars out of 5. All present quality, steady HD video and sound. I replaced a giant, unsightly deep fringe antenna at our new home. This antennas performance rivals the expensive antenna. Excellent product.

Ok so I'm now updating my review, Right after I got it a few weeks go I had run into some issues then called VeiwSonic. For all the negative things I read about them online....they were awesome, No hassling or anything. After I sent it in it took about a week to get the new one, but so far I love it and I'm glad I didn't just return it. I hope to be able to purchase a second on in the future.

I love this monitor! I upgraded from a 22" 1368x768 monitor (technically a tv) that was not very good quality to this 28" 1920x1080 beauty! The picture looks amazing. Main reasons I was interested in this monitor was because it's big 28" size and the fact it has hdmi ports! I use it to hook up my pc and Xbox one. I really like how the input automatically switches to the device that is on with out me having to do it via the menu. If I had both my pc and Xbox on then I would have to go in and manually switch the input, but it's no big deal.I noticed other people wrote reviews where they had issues with the screen itself being faulty, but mine is great. The sound is not that great, especially if you're using it to play a video game or watch a movie. My solution to this is to use the headphone jack the monitor has as an audio-out port where I connect my Logitech 2.1 thx speakers. At first I thought the sound quality would not be good, but it actually sounds great. So if you only need basic sound out of this monitor for use with a pc the monitor speakers are not to bad, but I would recommend to people intending to use it for games, movies and shows to add some external speakers via the monitors headphone jack.Other than that I think this monitor is amazing. Good if you're going to be sitting about 2-4 feet away from it watching movies or playing a game. I won't go into full detail because others have done a great job reviewing the monitor. But to someone reading this who is on the fence about getting this monitor, I say do it! It really is a great monitor. The only way I can understand someone not being satisfied with this monitor is if you're a hardcore pc gamer and will settle for nothing but the best, then you'd be happier with a 2k or 4k monitor. But for my use as a display for my Xbox one and pc it is perfect and I love it!

The ViewSonic 28" monitor arrived yesterday, days ahead of schedule. I had it unboxed and working perfectly in under 20 minutes. The picture is solid, no jitters, no blank or stuck pixels. The default settings are perfect, including brightness, so much so that I have not yet had any need or desire to try out the settings menus. Runs 1920x1080 resolution by default from Windows 10 through VGA, automatically selects, with no futzing needed. I paid $185 with free shipping.Stand is solid well-designed, comes in 2 pieces, and requires modest assembly. Stand has a captive thumb screw for holding the pieces together, and a captive phillips head screw to secure the monitor. Monitor is fairly light-weight for its size. Screen material is plastic. Stand can be removed and disassembled by reversing the assembly steps. Has built-in speakers, but I have not tried them and have no need for them. The speaker grille is at the bottom, but only takes up an inch or so, so it is no issue. Connectors are HDMI (2) and VGA. I only use the VGA, and it works great.Screen finish is what I would call semi-matte. Coming out of the box I was initially disappointed by what seemed to be a glossy screen finish. With the monitor off, I can see my own image, albeit fuzzy, and other objects in the room, including lights. However, when the monitor is turned on, all of those reflections effectively disappear, so it is ok.Pros:- Low price for its size class, with great performance- Solid picture, no jitters, good color, no flicker, clear text- Brightness: plenty bright at the default setting, no urge to play with the brightness setting- Video performance is solid through VGA, no issues here- Stand: Solid, square not round (square is better), attractive- VESA mounting screw pattern, ready for wall mounting- Size: 28" for a 27" price (my actual measurement 27.85" visible corner-to-corner- Menu controls in front, touch style (good), not pressure pushbuttons- Rear panel connectors are vertical, pointing down (good)- Stand tilts up and down nicely- Completely quiet, no buzzing, and no detectable heat or warmth coming from the back or frontCons: (almost none)- Has a separate brick power block, instead of AC power going straight to the monitor

First of all, someone at Amazon needs to be responsible for seeing to it that reviews end up under the item they're intended for. It's getting to the point you can't rely on reviews because a large portion are listed under the wrong item. As I leave a review of this Antenna, two of the features I have to rate are Screen quality and Volume control. I was skeptical about the 150 mile range and justifiably so. I picked up 7 UHF channels that ranged from 25 to 40 miles of me.I couldn't pick up any of the 23 UHF and VHF channels that ranged from 61 to 64 miles from me.If you're looking for a long range antenna, this isn't it.
