I have fine hair so I have a hard time finding nice looking Hair clips. I had been paying 22.00 for clips from J. Crew, no more this is just like them.

Looks like the French made clips at a fraction of the price. This finish of the plastic is even finer than clips I paid $60 for. A bit smaller than I like. I like my clips to be 3-3.5 inches long. This is 2.5inches long. The description of the size is not clear. I have thick fine hair half way down my back and holds a quick messy bun well. Smooth teeth. I was so impressed, I ordered a bunch more different styles from this seller.

This was just what I was looking for. My hair is quite thick and long and I wanted to have a barrette which could contain the mess when I did not want my hair to be down. The tortoise celluloid is quite pretty. These have strong jaws, to the point that I was barely able to hold them open while placing my hair as I wanted it. I am elderly and disabled so my experience with the strong jaws might not be a worry for other people.

I absolutely love this hair claw/clip! Firstly, it is a really beautiful tortoise shell pattern, next is is very gentle on the hair & soft against the scalp because of how it is shaped, cut & the quality. And third,y this is made of extremely high quality heavy materials yet, the hair claw itself is rather lightweight. This is now my hinew favorite hair accessory. I'm so glad I took a chance on purchasing this because I am so pleased with this. Additionally, this came beautifully packaged in a lovely box & velvet drawstring dust bag. And inside, in addition to this beautiful hair claw, were five ponytail elastic in different colors! This was such a good value for the money. You will not regret purchasing this. And because it is such a beautiful hair claw and came wrapped so nicely with the extras, it would definitely be a nice gift for a neice!

I thought it was bigger. But is actually is perfect since I cut my hair really short. I like the material, seems pretty strong. Hold pretty tight.

I ordered this hairclaw because the picture on Amazon was so pretty. When it arrived, I was disappointed, because even though it was stunningly beautiful, it looked so small, I thought it must be for little girls. I thought there was no way it would hold my long, thick hair. So I went to Amazon to initiate a return. But before doing so, I decided to reread the reviews. Many people said that despite its small architecture, the clip really works. So I finally unwrapped and tried it. This clip REALLY WORKS! It is beautifully designed of a quality plastic with a wonderful spring. The teeth lay flat against my head and the clip is very lightweight making it the most comfortable one of these I've ever owned. I ordered it in 3 more colors. They all came in gift presentation boxes with a surprise gift of 4 nice ponytail bands included. I am super impressed! Yes, they are made in China, but you won't care once you see how nice these are!

In addition to being smaller than I anticipated, the spring on the barrette I received is so tight that it's a struggle to use it. I've gone back to my old barrette.

Nice solid product.Not thin and flimsy like cheaper similar products out there.But a little on the heavy side so it slides off my hair if not placed securely - however, this is because the product is sturdy and thick so I guess I can’t complain.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this clip, it is really well made and comes in a cute box and drawstring bag and a gift of really good hair elastics! 100% recommend.
