This is a highly relatable moving book. We can all relate to the author in some way. And we can use her techniques to live happier.

Inspiring book!
I read this book in one sitting and just loved it. I found it totally inspiring. Julie Potiker is a fabulous writer and the information is terrific. I want to go to one of those retreats. And I am definitely getting a here and now stone!!!! Fabulous read.

Practical and Insightful Read
Julie takes a topic that can be intimidating and confusing and breaks it down into easily followed steps. I found the chapters to be well organized and clearly thought out. She tells beautiful stories of life’s tragedies and how to cope with them and come out of the darkness and into the light. I’ll be using her strategies daily to bring awareness to my thoughts and compassion to my feelings. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking to not only better their life, but the lives of those around them.

Wonderful, absorbing, super helpful book. Easy to read.
Julie's voice is unique. The way she tells her story gets into your mind and heart ...she's surprisingly funny and teaches through stories; throughoutshe offers excellent tools for how to use mindfulness to help you feel better and function better - even during the most challenging and difficult experiences.As a psychologist, I was aware of some of the mindfulness information that Julie presents in her book...but Julie's authenticity and style compells the reader to step it up and show up, and take their own personal mindful journey. Personally, her book has inspired me to practice mindfulness meditation daily and my life is so much better for it.I feel more centered, grounded, and comfortable in my own skin.I can hear my own voice more easily.Already, I have recommended this book to my clients and I highly recommend Julie's book to all!
