Nerf Megalodon N-Strike Mega Toy Blaster with 20 Official Mega Whistler Darts

I spent some time with my boys looking at several Nerf and similar guns to put on their Christmas wish list. My 4 year old picked this one. He was super excited to get it on Christmas morning. The only downside, which isn't the company's fault, is that he had some difficulty operating it which caused him to be a little frustrated lose interest. I think it's a fantastic toy. It shoots reliably, accurately and with some decent velocity. I also love the whistle of the darts as they rip through the air. If he were just a little bit older and stronger, he would probably be all over it. Overall, great product. Just make sure your kid has the size and strength to be able to operate it.

Fun. Durable. Good value. Heavy. Hard to pull back for younger kids.

We bought this because our kids have an artillary of nerf products. Mom and dad needed to step up our game. This is known now as moms nerf gun. I actually keep it up high in my closet. I finally have something that blows those little turds away! I love it. And they love it too. Our kids get a kick out of shoot the kids. My husband and I literally lay in the bed and try to shoot our 3 kids running around the room. It’s the laziest and funnest game to play. And this nerf gun is th master!

This blaster has wow factor that the kiddos love. It’s big and shoots the huge darts quite far and fast. Decent accuracy, but the priming mechanism proved inconsistent and can take several tries to finally engage. This is less than ideal for nerf battles because the blaster must be primed for each dart fired.

As soon as I got this gun me and my 10 year old went to war! It shoots very well and alot of power, you can hear the darts whistling very well. The only issue I can find with this is it's a little heavy in the front because of the drum but not too bad and the lever is tough to pull, my 10 year old has a little trouble with it, I thought we got a defected gun because the lever would get stuck but its only because you have to pull it all the way back, if you don't cock it back all the way it gets stuck but just keep pulling it back and it will release. Great for teens and adults, or strong kids

Works well and it is enjoyable.

If I could have captured the look on my son's face when he received this for his birthday, I would frame it and hang it on the wall. He was THRILLED! I don't think he put this Nerf down for two days! It was even on his bed while he slept!If you have a child who loves Nerf toys, this one can't be beat. It is surprisingly accurate also; I bought my son a couple of targets (one electronic), and he was hitting them with precision. I definitely recommend this one!

It shots far and fast as it describes. I bought 1 for my 11yr old and my 5yr old boy. The 11yr old has no problem pulling back the lever to reload it but my 5yr old had a little bit of a hard time. The spings on the reload lever are a little stong. So in opinion it should be for kids of at less 7 or 8yrs old. But they are awesome and we have fun with them.
