Yep, it's a jackhammer
The media could not be loaded. Included with this jackhammer are a hex pointed chisel, a flat chisel, 2 hex keys, oil container, oil gauge wrench, safety goggles, an extra pair of carbon brushes, the instruction manual, carry case and work gloves. I am not an expert in using this so I think the instructions could be a bit better as it is basically a 3 page pamphlet but it does give the basics to get you going. This jackhammer is a solid one for sure and is fairly heavy weighing about 30 pounds. This is a good jackhammer for home projects, especially since this set gives you everything to get started. The power cord is just over six feet in length and although this is heavy, the handle is fairly comfortable. This has pretty good power and while it won’t compete with commercial grade jackhammers, this will do the job at demolishing a patio or sidewalk. This does get warm when using over time and so the gloves should be used. This works well on breaking up the big rocks in the yard but should do the job on most concrete or anything like that. It is fairly easy to use and hold, even for someone like me who has never used one before. For the money, this is a good little home use jack hammer5 starsSample provided

Great Customer Support from TR Industrial
See **update below. Original review: I needed a jack hammer to break up about 400 sq ft of clay soil in my backyard. For the price of renting a jack hammer for two days I was able to purchase this jack hammer. I purchased the clay spade scoop bit separately. When I opened the box and case that the jack hammer came in, I noticed that the oil that was added from the manufacturer had leaked out of the jack hammer, making a mess of the jack hammer itself (thankfully most of the mess was contained in the plastic covering the jack hammer). I cleaned up the jack hammer, read the instructions, filled the jack hammer with oil (it has a handy see-through window to see how much oil is inside), and gave it a go. For the first few minutes that I used it, it worked fine with the clay spade bit. I used it in 3-5 minute intervals, breaking up the clay, removing the clay, and then breaking up some more. I noticed after I used it the first time for only a few minutes that the oil was gone. I then noticed that oil was dripping down the bit at the end of the jack hammer, and a little bit of oil was coming out of a seam in the exterior close to the trigger. I continued to use it, refilling the oil reservoir each time after only 3-5 minutes of use. After repeating this process several times, I was finally able to break up most of the clay. If I hadn't been on a tight schedule to finish the job, I would have given up earlier and gone to rent something similar. Towards the end, the oil was leaking so bad that I decided to stop using it. I removed the bit from the jack hammer and oil gushed out the end. Big mess everywhere. Now I know where a lot of the oil ended up. I was very disappointed that the oil seemed to leak from just about everywhere on the jack hammer.I read the section in the manual about the warranty (pretty short section). There is a one year warranty on the jack hammer, but the consumer is responsible for shipping the jack hammer both to and from the manufacturer. The entire package with the jack hammer, included bits, and case, weighed about 50 lbs., too much to send overseas or across the country, and too much hassle for the time it will take.Overall, I was impressed by the design and functionality of this jack hammer, but very disappointed that it constantly leaked oil, rendering it almost useless. I was surprised at the relatively low price to purchase this piece of equipment, but I guess you get what you pay for.**Update: After posting my original review, I was contacted by TR Industrial. They wanted to make things right and offered to send me a new jackhammer and then cover the return cost of shipping the original. I received a new jackhammer, as promised, but the jackhammer was damaged in transit. I contacted TR Industrial again, and they were very understanding and offered to send me another one and cover the cost to send the damaged one back. I received my third jackhammer and finally had a chance to use it for another project in my backyard. I'm happy to report that it worked great - no issues. I'm very impressed with the level of customer support provided by TR Industrial. I wasn't expecting to be contacted, but they were easy to work with and made sure I was happy with my purchase. Because of this, I changed my original rating of one star to a five star review.

Buy it
I bought this about a week ago and used it once on blacktop. I have not had a chance to use it on concrete yet. But it ate through the blacktop like T-Rex. I'm a NJ Master Plumber and I work all my tools past there limits so in three months I will be writing another review on the jackhammer. For now I would like to give you a comparison to my Hilti chipping gun (over $1,000 new) I have which for a chipping gun is probably the best chipping gun I ever used. The TR jack hammer has it beat on power but not hits per minute. The TR hits hard and the wait of the TR helps follow through on the strokes. Unlike the chipping gun with less power but quick taps like a machine gun. So at this point in time I believe the TR is a crazy deal for the money. I'm already recommending it to friends in the trade. It comes with two bits, safety glasses, gloves, and spare repair parts. It also comes with a nice carrying case with wheels.

4.6 Stars .... Come on FIVE
The dirt in my yard might as well be concrete. After the first 7 or 8 inches, kiss the shovel goodbye. The only choice was a pick axe, if you have the room to swing it and wanted a minimum 3 foot diameter hole, or water - digging bar and time. What would have taken me honestly two hours to dig was finished in 15 minutes using the TR Industrial 89105 jack hammer with the Spade tool. Not to mention, what a relief on my back. This jack hammer is perfect, best price for the bang, solid construction, simple and easy to use and rips through anything it hits. I cut through 3 inch dia, tree roots, managed to keep my hole dia really small and had a 20" deep hole in 15 minutes. At one point I noticed that the pounding sound seemed to change for a few seconds, but being new to the tool, I thought nothing of it. When using the standard shovel to clear the dirt from the hole I found a rock the size of a cantaloupe - the other half of the rock was still in the side wall of the hole. I expect Doug from Forged in Fire to announce "Your Jack Hammer, Will Cut!"
