Mitutoyo182-225, Steel Rule, 12"/300mm, (1/32", 1/64", 1mm, 1/2mm), 1/64" Thick X 1/2" Wide, Satin Chrome Finish Tempered Stainless Steel

Typical Mitutoyo quality. The machine shop I work at uses both metric and standard, so having both on one rule is great. I like the matte finish more than I thought I would and it has the perfect amount of flex for measuring things that have a slight radius to them.

Excellent quality as expected. My only complaint is I wish I could have found one with metric on one side and 50ths and 100ths of an inch on the reverse so I wouldn't have to be hassled with converting fractions but I can't count that against Mitutoyo since I'm sure they probably make one like that and I just didn't look hard enough for it.

Mitutoyo makes so many rulers that is hard to select the best one for a given application. Fortunately I got pretty much what I wanted, and it is a good ruler. I deducted one star for a minor fault that the intermediate graduations are not of different lengths, as is common on most rulers I have seen. For all I know Mitutoyo makes such a ruler but if so I could not find it. Even so, I would buy again.
