This book was a quick read with lots of information that is easily used. Will be using this book a lot!

Thank you to the author for not beating around the bush! Straight to the facts. I love it. This is a great reference for beginner gardeners. I love the breakdown of nutrients in the different amendments, the simple composting ideas, etc. I ended up buying this as a gift for my mom because it had so much good info compiled into one place. I also started a worm farm/vermicompost after reading this because I didn’t realize how easy it was until I read it in here. We will also be growing comfrey for compost tea, started a bucket system based off this book too. Great book, and yes I’d buy it again. I already have!

Found the book to be full of great information. I learned a lot. Left with things I now want to try in my garden. The worth reading just for the soil recipes. Only wished it was a little longer of a book.

There are so many wonderful ideas for adults and kids.

I enjoy the simplicity of the layout of the book. It explains things beautifly. I feel I can be a gardener.

I originally checked this book out from the library and read it. I really enjoyed it and so decided to buy it and add it to my collection of gardening books. I thought the author was very articulate and I enjoyed the way she phrased her information. Some of the information was new to me and some was not but all of it was well said.

VERY USEFUL BOOK. It includes recipes for making your own potting mixes, soil tests, mulches, compost, fertilizers -- all very easy to understand and replicate. Then there's the fun stuff -- making seed bombs, winter bird food, and so much more. Garden Alchemy has pride of place in my gardening book collection and is a great resource for making organic gardening products from scratch.

Easy reading what great content and plenty of tricks to use in your garden

This book is a must have and is an especially great tool packed with practical experiments. It is enticing to read with an aspect of fun on the practical side. It would be a great excuse to get the whole family gardening. There's something for everyone and this is so well written.

The book arrived with its front cover ripped off and a stain on it. The content is good but when I order a new book, it is disappointing to have paid full price for something in this condition.

This arrived today, can't put it down. Stephanie has put into words what I have believed in for so long. 60 years learning about and practicing eco gardening, feeding nature with nature. The joy in her book is that there is always something new to learn. This is already one of my prized possessions. Fantastic!
