McGraw-Hill Education Preparation for the TASC Test 2nd Edition: The Official Guide to the Test (Mcgraw Hill's Tasc)

I teach an adult education class and prepare students to take the TASC test. When the first edition of this book came out, I purchased it right away and it has been extremely helpful. The practice tests are, in some ways, more like the actual test than the Readiness Test. When the second edition came out, I purchased it expecting to find new practice tests for my students. However, 90% of the second edition is exactly like the first edition--word for word. The 10% new information covers test format like drop down items and short answers.If you do not have the first edition, I highly recommend the second edition. However, you do not need both editions. One thing to take into consideration is that the first edition is printed on a better quality paper and is more substantial.

I am a TASC coordinator for a local high school. This review book is good as a source of questions, but does not do a great job of explaining content.

This book is easy to understand and give you exactly what you need to know to success on the exam. I bought it, read it , and take the TASC successfully.

This book is a must have to pass your TASC in New York State. The language is not so easy sometimes but as there are not so many alternatives out there you have to deal with this.

Use it in my HSE classes. Good guide as reference and instruction. Some typo errors found.
