It is very light and compact. When fold down and in its bag it is about the size of a regular box of cookies. This way you can carry it in your backpack or in your luggage. I do a lot of motorcycling and sometime you get caught by rain showers. With this you can continue your trip without getting soaked. Its small size is the main reason I got it. Good choice in this price range I already have an old rain suit but it is bulky and takes all the place in my backpack.
