EXTREME TYPHOON III 150 GPD RODI with Gauge & TDS Alarm & Dual TDS Meter

This unit arrived promptly and was very easy to install. I purchase this to provide good clean healthy RO water to my fridge water spout, Ice machine, and RODI water to our fish tank. Unfortunately our water pressure combined with the superior filtering of water lead to too low of an RO water pressure output to feed fridge and ice machine. I went in knowing that this was a huge possibility. I contacted Air Water and Ice who's quickly answered the phone and helped me resolve issue by ordered AWI's permeable water saving pump and 10gallon pressurized tank. After this addition the system had plenty of water pressure to feed frige and ice machine. The quality of our water is amazing about 12TDS on RO side and great tasting. I immediately noticed clear ice cubes and a happier wife! HahaI also use the system to make RODI water for our fish tank. I purchased a 44gal rubber maid garbage can, drilled hole and installed included float. Can filled over night and auto shut off as expected. I purchased submersible pump and am able to provide perfect zero PPM of RODI water to aquarium.If you don't need the 150GPD rate of water check out AWI reef keeper kit I think it's called. It still has two outputs one for drinking and one for fish but it's rated at 75gpd and includes permeable pump and 5gallon tank.

Unfortunately it did not meet my expectation because the unit I was sent struggles to produce 50 gallons a day even though it was advertised to produce 150 gallons a day. The quality of water produced is excellent how ever I think I was sold a defective unit. Not a happy customer
