This product is a great bargain given the specs. In fact, even though it's called "longest living acidophilus", it also includes lactobacillus rhamnosus, bifidobacterium longum and lactobacillus sporogenes. Our guts are all comprised of different species of probiotics (when the gut flora is compromised, we tend to become and/or stay ill longer, so probiotics are an important part of the body's immune defense mechanism), so one strain may not necessarily do it as well as several strains. There is some literature just out on how we all have different gut flora (4 different types), so over time I hope that this information will be included in manufacturer specs. But for now you get 100 capsules at under $6 per bottle (with free shipping under amazon prime), which is pretty much unheard of for this type of quality. I rotate among several different brands of probiotics and this one is hands down the best value for the buck.

I take 2 of these and 1 daily enzyme on an empty stomach every morning! Helps digestion and cleansing! I have taken these products for 5 months now and I look slimmer

These work very well for my tummy. Since they're dairy free, I give them to my pets as well.

They were good for the time being. Nothing like PB 8 Probiotics.
